Tuesday, January 24

*3:34pm-Brownwood Police met an individual at their home to collect unwanted medications which belonged to her deceased husband.  These medications were taken to the Brownwood Police Department and placed into evidence for later destruction.

Wednesday, January 25

*10:18am-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Austin Avenue regarding criminal mischief/theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone cut the exhaust system of a 1997 Chevrolet truck in an attempt to steal the truck’s catalytic converter.

*1:33pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vine Street regarding an unwanted person.  A criminal trespass warning was issued to the subject at the resident’s request.

*4:10pm-Brownwood Police responded to a residence on Market Place Blvd. in reference to a sexual assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated she was sexually assaulted by a doctor during an exam this day.

*4:27pm-Brownwood Police met with an individual at the Law Enforcement center regarding the drug take back program.  A number of medications were collected and placed into Brownwood Police Department’s evidence room for later destruction.

*5:30pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, dispatch advised that the subject was not on scene.  Items stolen include two Acer Aspire Desktop computers valued at $428 each.

*5:44pm-Brownwood Police spoke to a complainant via telephone call regarding a theft which occurred in the 2700 block of Elizabeth.  According to the report, two flash drives were stolen from the residence, valued at $25 each.  A juvenile suspect was named in the theft the report states.

*7:47pm-Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her brown leather wallet was stolen while she was at Wal-Mart.  The value of the wallet was reported to be $20 and the wallet contained the complainant’s driver’s license, social security card and $218 in cash.

*9:07pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of Sharp Street regarding a missing person.  62-year-old Ana Perez was listed as a missing person.  She is described as:

White Female

Eyes:  Green

Hair:  Brown

Height:  5’ 01”

Weight:  98 lbs.

Last seen wearing:  Pink button up blouse, light blue jean pants, black and silver Nike shoes.  Perez also wears glasses.

 

*11:46pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Waco Street.  According to the report, the complainant alleged that his father, William Lawson had attacked him while he was sleeping.  This call led to the arrest of Lawson for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Tracy Renee Bishop for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Jacob Alonzo Gomez for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction.

*Early Police arrested 47-year-old Johnny Ray Lassiter of San Saba for Fraudulent Use of Identifying Info and Failure to Identify.

Thursday, January 26

*12:20am-A Brown County Deputy assisted two Brownwood Police officers who were handling a domestic disturbance call in the area of Maple and Waco Streets.  During the incident, a woman on scene was noted to be intoxicated and advised not to drive; however against officer’s advice, she entered a Dodge truck and began to drive away.  The deputy was concerned and made a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Kristi Collins McCarron for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
