Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, December 6, 2010.

Thursday, November 25

*2:07pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of 4th and Avenue J regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the officer spoke with two occupants of the vehicle and was given a description of the suspect vehicle and its driver.  The victim’s vehicle was towed and two of its occupants transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.  The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, November 29

*2:47pm-Brownwood Police received a report of a wallet being stolen from a customer while she was shopping at Wal-Mart.  According to the report, items stolen were the wallet along with a debit card, Texas driver’s license, social security card, WIC card $50, cash, and miscellaneous papers and pictures.

Tuesday, November 30

*5:21pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Bailey regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the officer met with the complainant who stated that a window to her home had been broken.  The home was currently being repaired and the complainant stated that the front windows had already been replaced once before the report states.  Value of the damage to the windows is estimated at $346.

Friday, December 3

*7:49pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of 6th Street regarding a prior burglary.  According to the report, the owner had been gone for several days and returned home to find items missing from the inside of the residence.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*10:38pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Sunset Apartments regarding theft of medication.  The victim knew the suspect and wished to pursue charges the report states.

*11:18pm-Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop and the driver was identified as 20-year-old Casey Simpson of May.  Police reports indicate that communications advised the officer that Simpson’s driver’s license was currently suspected with previous convictions.  Simpson was then arrested for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions.

*11:18pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 3800 block of 4th Street to back up another officer on a traffic stop.  Further investigation led to the arrest of 30-year-old Jason Gilbert Guerrero for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and Public Intoxication.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Shamrock Shores in reference to a domestic disturbance.  According to reports, the suspect allegedly entered his vehicle after a brief argument and backed into the victim’s vehicle and left the scene.

Saturday, December 4

*4:09pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, where loss prevention employees were detaining two subjects detained for shoplifting.  The subjects were identified and issued citations for Theft less than $50.

*4:15pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Tequila Nights club regarding a burglary of a building.  Investigation revealed that the rear doors were slightly open and not secured.  After checking the building and speaking with the owner, it was determined that unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the building and stole a laptop and several bottles of liquor the report states.  No suspect(s) were known at the time of the report.

*5:44pm-Brownwood Police responded to a large fight in the 3700 block of Savoy Drive.  Numerous parties were involved and claimed to be victims of assault the report states.

Sunday, December 5

*3:38am-Brownwood Police were called to the Allsup’s convenience store at 1019 Coggin Avenue regarding criminal trespass.  The subject was identified as 42-year-old Rudolfo Reyna who was arrested for criminal trespass.

*4:00am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Avenue A regarding a domestic disturbance that had already occurred.  Further information gathered on scene led to the investigation of Assault with Injury Family Violence the report states.

*11:29am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that $262 had been stolen from a wallet by a female suspect that had fled prior to the officer’s arrival.  Suspect information was gathered and attempts to locate the female were unsuccessful.

*3:19pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding a theft.  According to the report, approximately 120 Xanax tablets in a plastic container were stolen from the complainant’s purse while it was left unattended at a local night club.  No suspect was known at the time of the report.

*7:39pm-Brownwood Police were called to 600 Center Avenue, Hastings, regarding a suspicious person.  According to the report, the officer issued a criminal trespass warning to 42-year-old Rudolfo Reyna.  Consequences of violating the warning were explained to Reyna who was advised to leave the property.  Reyna did leave; however, approximately 5 minutes later the officer observed Reyna walk onto the store’s parking lot the report states.  Reyna was arrested for criminal trespass.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 79-year-old William Faier of Marathon, Texas for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

Monday, December 6

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Joe Holstine of Watauga, TX for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1g, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
