Friday, January 18

*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding forgery.  According to the report, the complainant identified a suspect as having written checks on her account to various businesses in town without her knowledge or consent.

Sunday, January 20

*11:21 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, $100 cash in $20 denominations was stolen from the victim.  The suspect is unknown the report states.

Wednesday, January 23

*3:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Miller Drive regarding a parking violation.  According to the report, a bronze colored GMC Yukon Denali was parked in a no parking zone blocking the handicap ramps.  The vehicle was tagged with a notice that it would be towed if it wasn’t moved within 48 hours.  The owner of the vehicle was identified and attempts to contact him were unsuccessful.

Thursday, January 24

*10:52 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Terrace Lane regarding a disturbance.

*12:18 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a hit and run accident at 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart.  According to the report, the back passenger door of the vehicle was damaged; estimated cost to repair the damage was stated at $800.00.  The incident was believed to have happened while the vehicle was parked at Wal-Mart between 10:00 and 11:00 AM on January 11th.

*4:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding forgery of a financial instrument.  According to the report, a local business owner advised that a check in the amount of $770.37 had been forged and cashed at an unknown location by an unknown suspect.  It is suspected that the check was stolen and then reprinted in a way to change the payee information, the report states.  An investigation is ongoing.

*6:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Waco Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, contact was made with the complainant who stated that she had been hit on top of her head by a male subject.  The complainant identified a suspect and did wish to pursue criminal charges, the report states.

*11:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the couple became involved in a physical altercation after the husband kicked in the window to the apartment they lived in and then went to his mother’s apartment.  According to the wife, the husband assaulted her and caused her to get so angry that she assaulted him too.  He denied assaulting his wife, the report states.  Neither party had visible injuries or wanted to pursue criminal charges.  Information for victims about family violence was provided to the couple.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old John Richard Demyan III for driving while license suspended.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Christina Maebeth Donham of Coleman was arrested on a blue warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1 less than 1 gram.

*23-year-old Jett Louis Miller turned himself in on a warrant for his arrest related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 58-year-old Leonard Wayne Reed on a warrant related to theft greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*22-year-old Jefferey Prescott Rivera, Jr. of Copperas Cove turned himself in on a warrant for theft of property equal or greater than $20,000 less than $100,000.

*21-year-old Kaimee Reah Turpin of May turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest related to credit card abuse.

Friday, January 25

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Randall Don Baker for driving while intoxicated 3rd.

*Brownwood Police arrested 52-year-old Saleh Moosa of Frisco for driving while intoxicated.
