Wednesday, January 22

*3:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, Wal-Mart management stated that employees had been discovered “under ringing.”  This criminal activity took place between November 2013 and January 2014 and the estimated loss was reported to be $795.12, the report states.  Two employees were identified by store officials who wish to pursue criminal charges against both, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Day Trail regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a water heater and central heat and air unit were missing from the residence and that there was also damage to a wall.  Possible suspects were named, the report states.

Thursday, January 23

*7:56 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding child abuse/neglect.  According to the report, an employee of the local housing authority stated that she had entered an apartment to inspect the property and observed two young girls sitting on the couch.  After making several attempts to awaken the girls’ mother by knocking on the locked bedroom door, the housing authority employee called police, the report states.

*2:30 PM – Brownwood Police Department was contacted regarding harassing telephone calls made to a residence in the 4700 block of River Oaks Drive.  According to the report, the victim advised that the suspect had called her phone number on five separate occasions on this date and that the content of the calls were such to annoy and cause alarm to the victim.

*3:59 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, a store employee and complainant stated that a known juvenile suspect was caught shoplifting from the store this date.  The juvenile was cited and released into the custody of his guardian, the report states.

*5:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding criminal trespass.  As a result of this call, 40-year-old Paul Price was arrested for criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Randy Allen Alexander of Early on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Texas Juvenile Justice Department arrested 17-year-old Jasmine Zhane Drake on a warrant related to assault of a public servant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Kimberly Rebecca Mendez of Melvin, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft of services equal or greater than $20,000 less than $100,000.  Mendez is being held in lieu of bonds totaling $90,000.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Bridgette Nicole Neeb of North Richland Hills on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession, use, inhale, ingest volatile chemical.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Coby Pool on a surety withdrawal related to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone and Ector County warrants related to stalking family member and a surety withdrawal related to possession of a dangerous drug.  Pool is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $27,500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Chad Young for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
