Law enforcement arrests and reports released December 30, 2011.

 Wednesday, December 28

*11:03am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Beaver Street regarding theft of copper wire.  According to the report, the complaint stated that a known suspect had admitted to stealing copper tubing located behind her building.

*12:08pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Hall Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complaint stated that she bought an MP3 player from Best Buy; however, it was delivered by UPS to the wrong address.  UPS recovered the MP3 player from the suspect where the item was delivered just two houses down from its intended delivery.  Brownwood Police will collect the MP3 player from UPS as evidence.

*3:34pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Austin Avenue, CVS Pharmacy, regarding medication theft.  According to the report, the reporting party who is a pharmacy technician stated that someone stole four hydrocodone tablets from a prescription that was delivered to the wrong address.  The prescription was dropped off by a delivery service to a residence on Avenue D when it was supposed to be delivered to a customer at an apartment on Savoy Drive.

*4:09pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone stole two wallets out of her purse while she was at Regal Nails inside the Wal-Mart store.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 37-year-old Cody Paul Cass of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

Thursday, December 29

*12:07pm-Brownwood Police responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Durham Avenue regarding a burglary of a Habitation.  According to the report, several items including clothing, a back pack, and an Apple laptop computer were stolen.  This call led to the arrest of 17-year-old Clifford Denison, III for the Burglary of a Habitation.   Police report that all stolen items were recovered with the exception of a sweater which was taken. 

*8:27pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone stole her daughter’s Nintendo DS between 7:30am on December 22nd and 5:00pm on December 24th.

*11:58am-Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant regarding her husband hacking her Facebook and email accounts.  According to the report, the complainant wishes to pursue criminal charges against the suspect for harassment and breach of computer security.

*3:05pm-Brownwood Police had a community service call at the Law Enforcement Center regarding medication disposal.  The public is reminded that they may turn in unwanted or unneeded medications, whether over the counter or prescription, for disposal to the Brownwood Police Department.  According to City of Brownwood Officials, this helps keep drugs out of our water system as well as out of the hands of children and criminals on the street.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Edgar Ramirez.

Friday, December 30

*Early Police arrested 39-year-old Traci Harms Bolton of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Ashley Pruitt of May for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
