Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday and Thursday, December 29-30, 2010.

Wednesday, December 22

*3:50pm-Brownwood Police received a report of fraud.  The complainant requested a report be made in regards to a subject using her debit card information to make purchases online without her consent.

Friday, December 24

*6:20pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding a theft that had occurred.  The reporting party stated that $386.30 worth of merchandise had been stolen from the store on Dec. 16th and that there was video surveillance of the theft.  Two suspects were identified on Dec. 24th by the reporting party.  The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, December 26

*10:00pm-Early Police responded to a call at a fast food restaurant  in the 200 block of Early Blvd where an individual was passed out in his vehicle at the drive through window.  The officer checked the individual and determined he was intoxicated. The driver Colby Pruitt was placed under arrest for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.  Pruitt was taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a blood sample prior to being taken to the Brown County Jail.

Wednesday, December 29

*10:02pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Melwood regarding a hit and run incident.  The complainant stated that he found his vehicle had been struck on the driver’s side door.  There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Dustin Carter for Failure to Identify Fugitive and for two outstanding warrants from Curry County in New Mexico.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Elizabeth Clubb for Hinder Apprehension.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
