Wednesday, January 22

*8:39 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office made contact with 33-year-old Vincent Lenny Reyes-Cortes at the rest stop on South U.S. 183 in reference to a warrant for his arrest related to assault family violence/repeat offender.  According to the report, the warrant was confirmed and Reyes was arrested.  While searching Reyes before transporting him to jail, the deputy located a glass pipe in his right front pocket containing residue of methamphetamine, the report states. No other contraband was located on Reyes’ person and he was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident, the report states.

*10:40 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identification theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his soon-to-be ex-wife used his identifying information after their separation to make an online purchase.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Deborah Johnson on a warrant related to expired registration.

*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old Josue Jaime Pesina on a warrant related to parent contributing to non-attendance.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 26-year-old Tex Russell of Early on a warrant related to theft of services equal or greater than $20 less than $500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Heather Jess Woody of Austin on two Coleman County warrants related to prohibited weapon and possession of marijuana

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Oscar Zuniga on a warrant related to motion to revoke/burglary of a building.

Thursday, January 23

*12:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Avenue D regarding a domestic disturbance.  The complainant stated that a male friend had assaulted her, according to the report.  An investigation is ongoing.
