Wednesday, November 27

*3:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a possible stolen check.  According to the report, a male had entered the store and attempted to purchase fuel with a personal check.  The store’s check system displayed that the personal check was stolen, the report states.  The male then fled the store, leaving the stolen check behind according to the report.  The officer attempted to make contact with the owner of the stolen check; however, was unsuccessful, the report states.

*10:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of 4th Street, 7-11 convenience store, regarding theft.  According to the report a female suspect was issued a citation for theft less than $50 for stealing a pair of Brown Jersey Work Gloves from the store.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property in the 7000 block of Ardee Drive near Lake Brownwood regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown person had driven through a fence on the property causing approximately $1000 worth of damage.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 1849 regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the owner had arrived home to find that someone had forced entry into the home and burglarized it.  A possible suspect has been named and the incident is under investigation, the report states.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 18-year-old Madeline Barnham for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 36-year-old Shawn Lee Davison for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 54-year-old Tracy Henry Gardner for driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old David Munoz Gomez on a warrant for sexual assault.  Gomez was released on $25,000 bond.

*43-year-old Enrique Luna of Fort Worth turned himself in on a warrant related to failure to appear and driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Roger Ray Powers on a warrant for burglary of a building and on a warrant related to theft of property $50-$500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Terry Lee Reed, Jr. on a warrant for motion to revoke theft of property $50-$500, public intoxication and a warrant related to theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Susan Robinson of San Antonio on a warrant for forgery.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Nathan Emrys Willson for criminal trespass.

Thursday, November 28

*7:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue G regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the officer arrived to find two people actively fighting in the front yard of the property.  The officer broke up the fight, the report states.  This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Alvaro Garcia Jr. for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Friday, November 29

*12:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Magnolia Street regarding theft.

*3:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Fisk Avenue regarding debit card abuse.  According to the report, a possible suspect is known.

*9:00 PM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a possible sexual assault of a child.

*11:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 3rd Street regarding an unwanted person with firearms.  According to the report, the complainant advised officers that 23-year-old Kaleb Lynch (aka Robert Kaleb French) came to her residence and while conversing with French, he told the complainant that he had two firearms with him.  Upon seeing the firearms, the complainant became fearful and called police, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the Blanket School Ag barn regarding a handgun which had been found.  According to the report, the gun was determined to be a BB gun.  The complainant stated that her show pig had several areas on the belly, which were believed to have been caused by being hit with a BB.  She did not wish to pursue charges in this incident, the report states.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Juan Raul Ibarra of Early for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Joshua L. King of Sidney on a warrant related to theft over $20 under $500 by check.

*17-year-old Kyler Don Walls of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to hunting provisions violation.

Saturday, November 30

*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of Lakeview Court regarding a hit and run accident.

*12:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Lakeway Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, a large flatbed trailer and a dune buggy were stolen sometime during the previous night.  The incident is being investigated further, the report states.

*5:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Apache Court regarding a dog bite.  According to the report, the complainant’s 16-year-old was in the 3800 block of Crestridge when he was bit by a Rottweiler dog.  The owner of the dog was known and contacted prior to calling police, the report states.

*5:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Austin Avenue regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.  According to the report, the complainant stated that subjects were taking money from the car wash coin operated machines and entry appeared to be through the use of a key.

*4:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Southgate Drive regarding a  hit and run accident that happened sometime between the hours of 11:30 PM on November 29 and 11:00 AM this date.

*11:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding a subject who had stolen merchandise and was fleeing on foot.  According to the report, the subject was located and identified as 40-year-old Paul Price of Blanket.   After an investigation, Price was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a grass fire on County Road 618 regarding an irate subject.  According to the report, the male, identified as 71-year-old Eddie Mack Heard of Van Horne, was yelling at firefighters and not allowing them to put the fire out.  Heard stated that it was his land and that he had the right to burn it; however, the land is actually owned by Brown County and he had burned approximately 15 yards of grass, the report states.  Heard was given the option to go to the hospital to be cleared to see MHMR and he refused.  Heard was subsequently arrested and charged with arson.  Heard was released on a $25,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 50-year-old Kyle Ray Couch for hinder apprehension.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 21-year-old Mark Gene Curl, II of Goldthwaite for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Daniel Santos Morales, Jr. for resisting arrest search or transport and on a warrant for theft of property greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 68-year-old David Lee Shumaker on a warrant for failure to appear/criminal nonsupport.

Sunday, December 1

* 10:26 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Brookhollow regarding a possibly intoxicated subject.  According to the report, the officer located 28-year-old Michael Anthony Gauna of Junction in the 3200 block of Austin Avenue.  Gauna was determined to be intoxicated and a danger to himself and others, the report states.  Because Gauna was not able to find a sober person to take care, custody and control of him; he was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication.

*5:38 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of Hwy 279 and County Road 557 regarding the report of a fight in progress.  While in route, the deputy was advised that the actor had fled the area in a pickup truck, heading toward Brownwood, the report states.  The complainant stated that he had been to a friend’s house and noticed, while driving home, that he was being followed by the friend’s ex-boyfriend.  The complainant pulled over to see what the ex-boyfriend wanted and the two began arguing, the report states.  The ex-boyfriend then went to his truck and retrieved a wrench from it, came at the complainant and hit him in the side of the head with the wrench, according to the report.  The two continued fighting until the complainant’s friend arrived with her parents and the male fled the scene, the report states.

*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Joel Guadalupe Garcia of Early for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Angel Sanchez Huerca on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft over $1500 under $20,000.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 43-year-old Pamela Susan Jacobs of Abilene for possession of a dangerous drug.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old William Scott McCaslin on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft by check.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Michael Anthony Ouchi on a warrant for criminal nonsupport.
