Tuesday, January 15

*4:39PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of E. Commerce regarding criminal mischief to a parked vehicle.  According to the report, both front tires of the SUV were punctured with a knife and the hood had been carved as well.  A possible suspect was named; however, the investigation is ongoing, the report states.  The cost to repair the damage was estimated at approximately $1000.00.

Friday, January 18

*1:00 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Belle Plain and Sycamore Streets.  According to the report, the pickup failed to make a complete stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Main Blvd and Walnut Street, and a stop was made which led to the arrest of 18-year-old Jeffery Beck and 17-year-old Charles Cummings for possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 2A and for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

*3:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding criminal mischief.    According to the report, the manager and maintenance employee of the apartments met with police and reported a damaged interior wall between two apartments.  The damage was estimated at $200.00 the report states.

*4:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report the property was recovered and a male suspect had fled on foot toward the CVS Pharmacy.  Management stated that the store wished to pursue charges; however the suspect could not be located.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Angela Reno of Early for motion to adjudicate related to a possible probation violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Nikki S. Duncan on a warrant for failure to appear/theft of property by check out of Coryell County.

*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Samantha Gonzales for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*47-year-old Jesse Galvan Lopez, Jr. turned himself into the Brown County Jail for a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Jessica Renee McGlasson for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Shantell Shawntae Morgan for failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sara Joe Day Newton of Bangs for on a warrant, motion to adjudicate related to theft of property greater or equal to $20 less than $500 by check.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Jason Paul Young on a warrant for motion to revoke probation related to driving while intoxicated and for evading arrest or detention.

Saturday, January 19

*12:48 AM – Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Brady Avenue regarding a couple of violations.  The driver, identified as 29-year-old Alexis Brooke Yazell, was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

*7:45 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Cottage regarding theft.  According to the report, a male subject advised that some scrap metal had been stolen from his backyard near his shop.  The investigation is ongoing the report states.

*9:30 AM – A Brownwood Police officer witnessed suspicious activity in the 800 block of 3rd Street.  This led to the arrest of 25-year-old Patrick Boutelle for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*10:35 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue B regarding a found bicycle.  According to the report, the complainant found the bicycle parked in front of her mailbox in her front yard at approximately 5:00 PM the day before.  The bicycle was turned into the Brownwood Police Department for safekeeping.

*2:16 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 900 block of Wood Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report,  the complainant stated that her home had caught fire on Thursday, January 17th and that this date, she had returned and found that someone had burglarized her home and destroyed some of her belongings.  Items stolen included a 32-inch LCD television, an X-Box game system, controllers and games, a shipping box filled with tobacco items and a cigarette machine and an unknown amount of money in coins, the report states.

*5:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 6th Street regarding a bicycle which had been stolen from a shed behind the residence sometime between 12:00 PM January 17th and 5:46 PM on January 19th.  The bicycle was valued at $135.00 and the complainant did wish to pursue charges if a suspect could be identified, the report states.

*6:21PM – Brownwood Police received a report of criminal mischief in the 1500 block of Davis Lane.   According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend came to retrieve some of her property and upon leaving picked up a metal pipe and damaged the screen on the front window of the apartment.  The damage was estimated at $40.00, the report states.

*8:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 3rd Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the subject had left the premises.  Officers were able to locate a subject matching the description of the suspect walking on Avenue D towards First Street and identified him as 49-year-old Bryan Cheshire of San Angelo.  Cheshire smelled strongly of alcohol and was determined to be intoxicated to a point where he was a danger to himself and others, the report states.  Cheshire was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Brown County Jail.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Melissa Alvarado and 33-year-old Raymond Sosa Alvarado, Jr.   Each were charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Early Police arrested 20-year-old Kevin Ryan Cantu of Temple for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Marcus Navarro of May for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Jerry Wayne Nickerson for driving while intoxicated.

Sunday, January 20

*2:40 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Durham Avenue regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the officer arrived to find a male knocking on the front door of a residence in the area.  The homeowners advised that they did not know the subject.  After investigation, the subject, identified as 17-year-old Anthony Aguirre was placed under arrest for public intoxication and possession of alcohol by minor.

*12:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Vincent Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that overnight someone had broken out the back left side window of her vehicle; however nothing was taken from the inside of the vehicle.

*8:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Belle Plain regarding a residential burglary.  According to the report, the home had been vacant for a couple of weeks and a window was reported to have been broken and a window air conditioning unit had been removed from the window.   The incident was believed to have occurred between the evening of January 17thand the 20th and no suspect could be identified, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Forrest Tyler Lee Brown on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Mary Jean Harrell on a warrant out of Taylor County.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Glibert Vargas for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

Monday, January 21

*8:12 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 8th Street regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the warehouse supervisor advised that an unknown suspect stole several pieces of metal pipe from the warehouse’s outside loading docks.

*2:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a motor vehicle accident at W. Austin and Main Street.  According to the report, the officer, while investigating the accident, found one vehicle, a GMC pickup, reported as stolen.  The driver, 50-year-old Richard Anguiano Salas of San Antonio was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, the report states.   According to the report, Salas stated that a friend, Eddie Rios of Austin, had loaned him the pickup to use.  Salas also stated that Rio’s ex-wife had forced Rio’s father to sign the title over to her and then reported the pickup as stolen, the report states.

*3:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Beaver Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a suspect has been identified.

*7:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4600 block of 9th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, an unknown person had stolen a fishing rod and reel from the bed of his pickup truck.

*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Judy Yvonne Campbell for assault causes injury family violence.

*57-year-old Donny Ray Manion of Early turned himself into the Brown County Jail on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 48-year-old Mae Frances Martin of Austin on a warrant out of Taylor County.

*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old Kirk Sanders on a warrant out of Comanche County related to cruelty to animal.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Tommy Dan Wallace of Early for assault causes bodily injury family violence

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Justin Lynn Weiershausen on a warrant related to theft of property equal to or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
