Monday, December 17
*4:42 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Greenway regarding credit/debit card abuse.
Tuesday, December 18
*2:44 a.m. – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the back bumper and back fender of complaint’s vehicle were damaged in a hit and run motor vehicle accident. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to repair.
*11:09 a.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Center Avenue regarding found property. According to the report, an employee of the business found a case with 12 bottles of cleaning solution behind some bushes. The case was taken to the Brownwood Police Department and logged in as found property.
*12:04 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft of service. According to the report, a customer at Big Country Ford had a vehicle serviced and left without paying. The offense occurred on December 10th and is a loss of more than $1400, the report states. The customer was contacted numerous times over the past week but has neglected to pay the debt according to the report. Suspect information was provided.
*12:34 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated her foster son stole an Xbox from the residence and sold it to an unknown individual.
*2:40 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, a male subject was located and issued a trespass warning at the request of LaQuinta management and escorted from the premises.
*5:36 p.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that three of her children had admitted to hear that over a period of several days they had gone to three local merchants and stole items from the businesses. The complainant had recovered a broken cell phone and a USB jump drive from the children; however other items had been consumed or disposed of, the report states. The phone and jump drive were placed into the evidence room at Brownwood Police Department and a copy of the report was forwarded to the Brownwood Municipal Court.
*Texas DPS arrested 33-year-old Erasmo Castaneda of Brownwood for driving while license invalid.
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Demetricus Allen Fisher of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 48-year-old Clifford Leon Young for resisting arrest, criminal trespass, and public intoxication.
Wednesday, December 19
*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Isaac James Buendia of Brownwood for accident involving damage and reckless driving.
