Monday, December 15

*7:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue I regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, costume jewelry and electronic equipment were taken during the incident.  A suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing, the report states.

*9:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, some storage buildings were burglarized.  It was not known at the time of the report if any items were removed from the units that were forced open, the report states.

Tuesday, December 16

*4:13 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop in the area of Durham Avenue and Irma Street in Brownwood.  Suspicious behavior led to seizure of what turned out to be a bag containing narcotics, the report states.  The occupants of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Desiree Michelle Henson and 43-year-old Albert Ray Holder both of Brownwood, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.  Henson was also arrested on outstanding warrants related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500 (Taylor County), theft and failure to appear.

*4:15 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Avenue C regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 33-year-old Lavada Howard of Brownwood for hindering apprehension and also 32-year-old Stewart Reynolds of Brownwood for an outstanding warrant.

*4:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding trespassing.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 58-year-old Sharlette Hannah of Brownwood for criminal trespass.

*7:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Adams Street regarding an assault.

*9:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Avenue A regarding an animal bite.  According to the report, a male subject was bitten by a dog in the area as he walked his dog.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*10:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of 4th Street regarding an agency assistance with a follow up investigation.  According to the report, during the investigation, BPD officers discovered evidence leading to the arrest of one subject, identified as 25-year-old Tyler Lawrence Greenhaw of Brownwood, for several drug related charges including two counts manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 less than 28 grams, two counts possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone and possession of a dangerous drug.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Adam James Allison of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and expired registration.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Ruben Cadena of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals for forgery and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Cadena was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $32,500 as of Wednesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Mary Nicole Culp of Brownwood for a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/injury to elderly.  Culp was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

*23-year-old Ethan Wayne Griffin of Brownwood turned himself in on warrants related to motion to adjudicate/theft less than $20,000 and driving while intoxicated (Mills County).  Griffin was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $7,500 as of Wednesday morning.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 28-year-old Dustin Ray Lawson of Brownwood for a warrant related to expired registration.

* The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 36-year-old Yajaira Alejandra Lugo of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license and failure to appear.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Andrew Chambliss Thrasher of Brownwood on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.  Thrasher was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

Thursday, December 17

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Charles Anthony Cummings of Brownwood for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and tampering with or fabricate physical evidence.  Cummings was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $21,500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Alain Alfredo Valencia-Mendez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
