Sunday, December 14

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was mailed a check to her residence on Sleepy Oaks Lane in Early; however, when she received the envelope from her mailbox, the check was missing.  There was a seal on the end of the envelope indicating that the envelope was received at the Early Post Office unsealed, the report states.

Monday, December 15

*11:59 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Belle Plain Street regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.  According to the report, two coin operated vacuum cleaners were broken into and an unknown amount of currency was removed.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*12:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of 1st Street regarding found property.  According to the report, a red bicycle had been found in the alleyway behind a residence. The bicycle is being held in the Brownwood Police Department impound for safe keeping until its owner can properly identify and claim it.

*1:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Hawkins Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a 32-inch flat screen television had been stolen from the residence.

*2:40 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 800 block of Hickory Street regarding the burglary of a storage building.  According to the report, several tools were stolen from the unit.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of services via telephone.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a locked water meter in the Thunderbird Bay area had approximately 100 gallons of water run through it since last Tuesday.  The complainant stated that the occupant of the residence was a former employee from the water supply company and would have access to the keys for the lock on the meter, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Bernard Crowder of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/probation violation/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jessica Elizabeth Parsons of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, manufacture delivery of a controlled substance , possession of marijuana and driving while license invalid.  Parsons was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $58,000 as of Tuesday morning.

*35-year-old Roxanne Leigh Schaefer of Blanket turned herself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Trevon Michael Vinson of May for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
