Wednesday, December 9

*5:47 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s corporal was dispatched to an animal complaint.  According to the report, the complainant stated his pet cat had been shot with a pellet gun and had to be put down. A possible suspect has been named according to the report.

Friday, December 11

*12:53 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a defective high-mount brake light, and, according to the report, the vehicle did not come to a complete stop when turning right onto Emerald Dr. from Limerick Dr. near Lake Brownwood.  According to the report, the deputy conducted a probable cause search on the vehicle during the stop after observing marijuana in plain view.  Interviews were conducted with both occupants of the vehicle, identified as Trevor Michael Vinson of May and 19-year-old Wyleah Espinosa of Brownwood.  Vinson and Espinosa were eventually placed under arrest for possession of marijuana

*4:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of W. Baker Street regarding the possession of child pornography.  An investigation is ongoing, according to police.

*7:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Bailey Street regarding theft of property.

*10:24 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Avenue G regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report a purse and its contents were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

*10:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 10th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the incident was documented and settled by separation.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of Blanket for a possible intoxicated and suicidal subject who was acting dangerously. Upon the deputy’s arrival, he made contact with a woman identified as 33-year-old Lisa Stambaugh of Blanket who was walking along the railroad tracks. According to the report, as a result of this call, Stambaugh was arrested for public intoxication due to her being a danger to herself and others.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. According to the report, during contact with the driver, identified as 18-year-old Devin Brumbelow of Brownwood, the deputy observed the scent of fresh marijuana.  A pat search of Brumbelow led to the discovery of a bag with 20 grams of marijuana in it, the report states.  Brumbelow was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 22-year-old Mackenzie Alexis Brown of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of driving while license invalid, failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear and expired registration.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old William John Mullin of Dublin on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance.  Mullin was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Sheila Ann Partin of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Philip Andreas Walker of Brownwood on warrants related to unsafe speed, violate driver’s license restriction, and violate promise to appear.

Saturday, December 12

*2:31 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on FM 1176 regarding a burglary in progress.  The deputy arrived to find the homeowner had detained the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Adrian Michael Vela of Brownwood, the report states.  Vela was arrested, charged with burglary of a habitation and theft of a firearm.  Vela was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $15,000.

*12:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Melwood regarding a domestic disturbance.  The disturbance was settled by separation, the report states.

*12:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, no suspect vehicle was located at the time of the report.

*7:58 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Trigg Street.  According to the report, this stop led to the driver being issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after a K-9 unit alerted to the presence of narcotics and paraphernalia was located.

*A search warrant was executed on a home located in the 4300 block of Woodland Park Drive in Brownwood which led to the arrest of a mother and son on narcotics charges.  Brown County Sheriff’s deputies had made a traffic stop earlier in the day on 18-year-old Devin Brumbelow who was arrested at that time, the report states.  The search of the Brumbelow’s home led to the discovery of 0.5 grams of cocaine, and a quantity of oxycodone and marijuana as well as $8200 in cash which was seized in the search, according to BCSO officials.  35-year-old Stephanie Brumbelow was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 (cocaine) less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds.   Devin Brumbelow, who was already incarcerated was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram (oxycodone), possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 (cocaine) less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds, according to law enforcement.  Devin Brumbelow was released on bonds totaling $32,000.  Stephanie Brumbelow was released on bonds totaling $20,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Bruce Gordon of Abilene on a warrant related to unlawful carrying of a weapon.

*Early Police arrested 48-year-old Lewis Harris of Jacksonville, Texas on a warrant related to assault family/household member impeded breath/circulation.  Lewis was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Monday morning.

Sunday, December 13

*2:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of alcohol.  According to the report, citations were issued to the suspects for theft less than $100.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Aaron Acosta of Georgetown for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 20-year-old Jace Lacaille of Georgetown for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Jerry Ned Woodcock of Brownwood on possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Misty Ordiway Woodcock of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
