Wednesday, December 11
*8:50 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Oakland Drive regarding an unwanted person. The complainant stated that a known suspect was inside her residence even though he had been issued a criminal trespass warning for the residence, according to the report. No arrest was made at the time of the incident.
*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a noise nuisance in the 600 block of Valley View Drive. According to the report, the complainant stated that a neighbor had thrown ice at her dogs. In speaking with the neighbor, a report was filed with Municipal Court regarding a noise nuisance at her request.
*11:53 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of 3rd Street regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant’s ex-boyfriend has been harassing her through cell phone calls and Facebook.
*3:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, a regular customer of the store came in and began cursing the complainant (who works at the store) and his wife. At the complainant’s request a trespass warning was issued to the subject.*3:21 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of Bowie Circle regarding theft. The complainant stated that her sister had stolen some jewelry from her residence approximately three to four weeks prior to this date, the report states.
Thursday, December 12
*21-year-old Luis Gerardo Castaneda turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Early Police arrested 40-year-old Tammy Tellez Haines for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
*45-year-old Elaine Matthews Keith of Zephyr turned herself in on a warrant related to theft by check equal or greater than $20 less than $500.
*38-year-old Nova-Starr Maxwell turned herself in on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*33-year-old Victoria Martinez Slayton turned herself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid.
Friday, December 13
*5:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of 14th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a female caller stated that someone had thrown a brick through her window. Police arrived to find that a cinder block had been thrown through the complainant’s window minutes before she had called police, the report states. A possible suspect was named according to the officer’s report.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Sportsman Center on Belle Plain regarding a burglary. According to the report, a store employee arrived to find the bottom half of the glass door shattered. After further investigation, it was determined that no entry had been made into the building, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal dumping. According to the report, the complainant reported that the neighbor has been dumping tires and other debris on the neighbor’s own property, located on Luker Circle.
