Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

Wednesday, December 7

*1:00pm-Brownwood Police received a report of a laptop that was believed to be stolen from the Brownwood Middle School.  According to the report, an investigation was opened and at the time of the report, there were no suspects.

Friday, December 9

*11:24am-A Brownwood Police officer was contacted by the Brownwood Middle School Assistant Principal regarding a fight which occurred on Thursday, December 9th.  According to the report, an investigation determined that two students had been involved in a fight.  The students were issued citations for Disorderly Conduct Fighting.

Monday, December 12

*7:27am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Parkway regarding a report of Theft of a Motor Vehicle.  According to the report, an unknown subject had stolen the complainant’s 2001 Chevy Suburban.

*11:04am-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Melwood.  According to the report, the driver, 24-year-old Cruz Salazar, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid Surcharge Due.

*7:38pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2300 block of 12th Street for a defective license plate lamp.  According to the report, the driver admitted to possessing a marijuana pipe after questioning.  He was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia as well as Driving While License Invalid, the report states.  A written warning was issued for the defective license plate lamp and the driver was released at the scene.

*9:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding a juvenile problem.  According to the report, communications advised that foster children were fighting at the address.  Investigation determined that the two foster brothers were involved in a mutual fight with one another and no one was injured as a result of the incident, the report states. 

*9:28pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an accident.  According to the report, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle involved left without reporting the accident with injury.  It was also determined she had no valid driver’s license, the report states.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
