Wednesday, December 10

* 8:54 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Cleburne Street regarding theft.  According to the report, several tools were stolen from a residence in the area.  The suspect was identified and an investigation is ongoing according to police.

*1:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, after speaking with the store manager and the suspect, the officer arrested Roberta Spencer for theft less than $50 with previous conviction.

*2:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Center Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen a credit card and a debit card from his gym bag while he was working out at a local gym.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for defective equipment.  According to the report, while conducting a roadside interview with the driver, identified as 43-year-old Alfred Vasquez, Jr., the deputy believed Vasquez was committing some type of criminal activity.  Consent was given to search the vehicle and a small piece of a torn baggie with white residue was found, the report states.  The residue tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, according to the officer’s report.  This stop led to the arrest of Vasquez for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

Thursday, December 11

*8:56 AM – Brownwood Police received a report from the records clerk at the law enforcement center regarding a subject who failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

*2:14 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on 4th Street regarding the theft of a nail gun.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative has stolen three pneumatic air guns and is refusing to return them.

*8:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Austin and Main Streets regarding a possible incident of driving while intoxicated which had been reported by phone.   According to the report, a male subject had been following the suspect vehicle which then parked at Sunset Terrace.  The officer made contact with the driver, identified as 33-year-old Brandi Michelle Kite of Brownwood, the report states.  After failing several field sobriety tests, Kite was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the report states.

*9:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Carnegie regarding a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, officers determined that the subjects involved resided at the residence and that an assault had occurred between the two, according to the report.  This call led to the arrest of 42-year-old Holly Coulter of Brownwood for assault family violence with injury.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Dakota Michael Cross of Blanket on a warrant related to the burglary of a habitation.

*43-year-old Pat Allen Pierce of San Saba turned herself in on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Brownwood Police arrested 64-year-old William Bing Wallace of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/unlawful carrying of weapon and failure to appear/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Friday, December 12

*1:39 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop for a defective right brake light in the 200 block of E. Commerce Street.    According to the report, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  This led to the arrest of 18-year-old Jessica Robledo of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*24-year-old James Kristopher Simmons of Menard was arrested for burglary of a habitation.  Simmons was being held in the Brown County Jail on a $20,000 bond as of Friday morning.
