Wednesday, December 9

*12:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on County Road 172 in Bangs.  According to the report, a black Angus bull was estrayed from the property at the land owner’s request.

*1:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Luker Circle regarding a stolen bicycle.  According to the report, the bicycle was described as a Mongoose “Fat Tire” with a blue frame and red wheels and was valued at approximately $200.00.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop on an SUV for the violation of running a stop sign. According to the report, consent was given by the driver to search the vehicle, which led to the discovery of 0.9 grams of Methamphetamine, 331 Tablets (79.4 grams) of Tramadol, and 185 other prescription pills located inside the car.  This call led to the arrest of 43-year-old Kenneth Glenn Armstrong for possession of controlled substance penalty group 3 greater than 28 grams less than 200 grams, possession of controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, and possession of dangerous drug.

Thursday, December 10

*7:54 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy assisted the Early Police Department in estraying a horse located inside the Early city limits in the 1600 block of Early Blvd.

*1:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3900 block of Oakdale Drive regarding child pornography.  According to the report, a hard drive from a computer was seized and an investigation is underway.

*1:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a known female had forged and cashed at least three checks from his account with a local bank.

*8:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Baker Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, a dark colored small SUV struck a parked white S10 Chevrolet truck and then left the scene.  No suspect or suspect vehicle information was available at the time of the report.

*10:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding a suspicious circumstance.  According to the report, criminal mischief had occurred and an active investigation is ongoing.

*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Beatriz Ibarra of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of services equal or greater than $20 less than $500.

Friday, December 11

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old William John Mullin of Dublin on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/possession of a controlled substance.  Mullin was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
