*4:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding trespassing. According to the report, a female subject who had an active trespass warning for the store’s property was reported to be inside the store. Loss prevention followed the female around the store, the report states. A criminal trespass warning was confirmed, and a report was made for criminal trespass according to police.
*4:12 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to County Road 381 regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the complainant stated that when he went to check his mail, a neighbor drove up and “flipped him off” while yelling something inaudibly due to the windows on the neighbor’s truck being rolled up.
*6:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding an assault which allegedly occurred on a Brownwood ISD school bus during the morning route this day. According to the report, it was discovered that a male student had been bullying a female juvenile on the bus since the beginning of the school year; both are students at Brownwood Intermediate School. The bullying had been reported by the female’s mother to bus and school officials; however, no action had been taken the report states. On this date, the male called the female a curse word and because of the ongoing bullying, the female took physical action and hit the male, according to the report. The male and female struck each other numerous times in the facial area, though neither suffered serious injury, according to the report. The altercation ceased after approximately one or two bus stops according to police.
*10:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Vincent regarding theft. According to the report, a possible suspect has been named.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that his home had been broken into and several items had been stolen. The items included prescription medication, a DVD player, flat screen television, a single item of jewelry and some tools.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Dustin Jared Evans on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Juan Ryan Hernandez, Jr. on a warrant related to motion to revoke/resist arrest.
*42-year-old Peter Lance Herring of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Michael Joe Somerville on a warrant for failure to appear/possession of marijuana equal to or less than 2 ounces and failure to appear/driving while intoxicated.
