Law enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, December 10, 2012.
Friday, December 7
*5:51 a.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue D regarding a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that her home had been broken into between the hours of midnight and 5:51 a.m. on this date. Items stolen included a 60-inch LCD television and $20 cash. The complainant did wish to pursue charges if a suspect could be identified.
*7:42 a.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding criminal mischief.
*8:45 a.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Phillips Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. A report for assault with injury family violence was completed.
*4:42 p.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Avenue E regarding a civil matter. After the investigation, a criminal trespass warning was issued to a subject.
*4:49 p.m. – According to Brownwood Police reports, a subject brought a box of nonprescription medication and a glass pipe to the Brownwood Police Department for destruction.
*6:10 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of E. Depot regarding an intoxicated person. According to the report, 21-year-old Kailey Michelle Jones was arrested for public intoxication.
*10:40 p.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Walnut regarding an intoxicated person walking down the alleyway and attempting to get into a fence. The call led to the arrest of 43-year-old Chad Beasley for public intoxication.
Saturday, December 8
*2:00 a.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the corner of North Center Avenue and North Broadway regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the back window and back hatchback door on the complainant’s sport utility vehicle was damaged. The cost to repair the damage was estimated at $1500.00, the report states.
*3:05 a.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding two male subjects arguing in the street. Upon the officer’s arrival, one male was located on the porch and another on the sidewalk of the residence, apparently arguing, the report states. According to the report, the male on the porch tried to hide behind the column and the officer ordered him off of the porch and to move toward him where he could see him better. This male, identified as 19-year-old Tyler Benjamin Edwards, was found to have been trying to conceal a clear plastic bag containing marijuana and a pill bottle containing hydrocodone and alprazolam. Edwards was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Several other subjects inside the residence were determined to be minors in possession of alcohol and six citations were issued for minor in possession – alcohol.
*4:36 a.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a burglary. According to the report, a female subject stated that an unknown male had entered her apartment without permission but did not take anything.
*1:41 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, an employee stated that Aubry Clevenger allegedly stole $257.27 in store merchandise. After an investigation, 29-year-old Clevenger of Coleman was arrested for theft.
*4:17 p.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Durham Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that her cousin had been visiting her residence and told her that someone was calling her from outside. The complainant went outside; however no one was there and her cousin came outside and quickly left, the report states. The complainant stated that when she went back inside, she noticed that her wallet was missing from the dining room table, according to the report. Stolen items include $220 cash, debit/credit cards, along with the complainant’s driver’s license and social security card.
*4:33 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce, the Budget Inn. According to the report, officers met with several people standing inside the hotel’s front lobby area. Several witnesses advised that a known female suspect, later identified as Danielle Odom, had left her 3-year-old son alone and unattended for approximately 20-30 minutes inside a hotel room, the report states. After the investigation was completed, 33-year-old Danielle Jean Odom was arrested for abandonment/endangerment of a child.
*5:53 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce where two bags, a duffle style bag and a backpack, were located. The bags contained miscellaneous clothing, personal hygiene items and prescription medications, the report states. No owner could be located; therefore the bags were taken to the Brownwood Police Department where they were placed into the evidence room for safe keeping.
*8:15 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of Adriana Carrillo for theft $50-500. Items stolen included a manicure set, nail polish, and various cosmetic products, according to the report.
*11:30 p.m. – Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room for an apparent assault. According to the report, the female stated that she was assaulted by her brother earlier in the evening. After an argument, he became angry pushing her to the ground and causing her physical pain, according to the report.
*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Adriana Carrillo for Theft of property $50-500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Erasmo Castaneda on charges of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, tamper/fabricate physical evidence and resist arrest.
*The Early Police Department investigated the burglary of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 300 block of Early Blvd over the weekend where a mobile DVD player and monitors were taken from a vehicle.
Sunday, December 9
*6:53 a.m. – Brownwood Police responded to the 200 block of E. Commerce where, at the request of McDonald’s management, a trespass warning was issued to a male subject.
*3:46 p.m. – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street regarding a citizen’s dispute. According to the report, a criminal trespass warning was issued to a male subject for the complainant’s apartment.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Aaron Michael Smith for resist arrest and interfere with public duties.
*Early Police Department investigated the theft of some chain link fence and post from a residence in the 1300 block of Early Blvd. A homeowner came home and discovered that their new chain link fence and post had been taken that was about to be put up.
Monday, December 10, 2012
*12 noon – Early Police responded to a vehicle accident on CC Woodson and Parkway where a vehicle drove off the roadway, down an embankment and into a fence. The call led to the arrest of 19-year-old Miguel Angel Pacheco of Brownwood for DWI and possession of methamphetamine.
