Law enforcement arrests and reports released December 1, 2011.

Wednesday, November 30

*5:42pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of San Benito regarding a civil matter.

*11:00pm-Brownwood Police stopped a bicyclist at the intersection of 2nd Street and Avenue H for an equipment violation.  According to the report, the subject was a male juvenile who was found to have been drinking and in possession of tobacco.  Citations for Minor in Possession of Tobacco and Consumption of Alcohol by Minor were issued to the juvenile and he was released to a sober adult, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested Alexander Carl Holloway for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz and for three outstanding warrants.

*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Bobby Morgan Wallace for Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 3 less than 28g.  According to Brownwood Police Assistant Chief James Fuller, after receiving information that Wallace was dealing controlled substances, BPD officers located and observed him in the act of what they determined to be a drug deal.  According to police, after confronting Wallace about what had occurred, he admitted to the act and was arrested.

Thursday, December 1

*12:12am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Riverside Drive, a local bar, regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone stole his iPhone 4 off of a table while he was using the restroom.  At approximately 1:37am, the stolen phone was returned by a male subject.  No charges had been filed at the time of the report.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
