Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, January 20, 2012.
Thursday, January 19
*7:21am-Brownwood Police were called to a hit and run accident in the 300 block of Bluffview Drive. According to the report, the incident occurred in the apartment complex parking lot. The parked, unoccupied sedan was struck by an unknown vehicle overnight causing moderate damage to the front end. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*1:32pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant believed his roommate and a girlfriend may have stolen some money from him over three different occasions during the last month, totaling $380. Neither suspect had been interviewed as of the report and were not present at the scene, according to police reports. The investigation is ongoing.
*4:02pm-A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue. This stop led to the driver, identified as 33-year-old James Adam Beam, being arrested for Driving While License Suspended Surcharge Due.
*5:17pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street regarding a shoplifter who was being detained. According to the report, the clerk stated that the suspect, later identified as 17-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Allen, had come into the business (Main Liquor) and was asked for identification, did not provide any and then left. Allen was seen talking to a people who were parked at the business, then turned around, walked into the store where he allegedly grabbed a bottle of Tequila (valued at $63.49) and walked out, the report states. The occupants of the car fled the scene as they saw Allen was about to be caught, according to the clerk. The tequila was knocked to the ground during the struggle and over half spilled onto the pavement, according to the report. After speaking with the clerk and reviewing the security footage, the suspect was arrested for Class B Theft.
*6:01pm-Brownwood Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 1200 block of Vine. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had shot her window with something causing it to break. It was later determined that a paintball was what had broken her window, the report states.
*8:09pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Victoria regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the caller advised that two vehicles drove by the residence and shot paint balls at the caller’s residence and vehicles.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Ashley Nicole Alldredge for Tamper with Physical Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Brandi Melissa Dudley for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram.
*Bangs Police arrested 29-year-old Jacob Matthew Gil for Exploiting the Elderly/Disabled.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Larry Boyd Wren of Clyde for Tamper with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Friday, January 20
*1:42am-A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Main Street after observing the vehicle make a right hand turn into the wrong lane. According to the report, the five occupants of the vehicle were identified and one of the occupants had a protective order against another occupant, 23-year-old Timothy D. McQuaig. McQuaig was subsequently arrested for the violation of the order.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
