Saturday, January 15
*2:43pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 2100 block of Belle Plain regarding criminal mischief. This call led to a report being filed for criminal mischief equal or greater than $1500, less than $20,000.
Tuesday, January 19
*1:33pm-Brownwood Police were called to 1000 Center Avenue, Jennings Hall-HPU regarding theft. The complainant stated he returned from Christmas break and discovered his bicycle had been stolen. A description of the bicycle was obtained and investigation continues.
*7:20pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of S. Broadway regarding theft of money. The complainant told the responding officer that she had left her vehicle unsecured and while she was away from it, an unknown suspect entered and removed a small amount of cash from the inside. At the time of the report there were no suspects.
*An anonymous person turned in a debit card that was issued from a local bank which was found in the 700 block of W. Commerce. Contact of the owner was attempted, however it was unsuccessful. The card was logged into the evidence room as found property until the owner can be notified.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
