A Brown County Sheriff’s investigator and deputies executed a search and arrest warrant for methamphetamine on 32-year-old Colt Ferguson at his residence in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive Tuesday morning, resulting in the arrest of Ferguson and three others.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., BCSO deputies and the investigator searched the residence where four adults identified as Ferguson, 31-year-old Patricia Sue Watkins (apartment tenant and girlfriend of Ferguson), 28-year-old Brittany Turner of Early (a house guest) and 31-year-old Miranda McCain Willis (a house guest) and three children under the age of seven were present, according to the report.  During the search of the apartment, 4.4 grams of methamphetamine and 18 grams of marijuana were seized, the report states.  Packaging and digital scales were also seized according to the investigator’s report.  The amount of methamphetamine, packaging and digital scales was determined to be consistent with distribution and subsequently, Ferguson, Turner, McCain and Watkins were arrested on charges of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

According to jail reports as of Monday morning, the four remained in the Brown County Jail.  Ferguson was being held in lieu of $33,000 bonds while Watkins and McCain (Willis) were each held in lieu of $28,000 bonds.  Bond had not been set for Turner according to Monday morning’s report.

Monday, December 30

*12:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Vincent Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, someone had egged the complainant’s car during the overnight hours.

*4:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding animal cruelty.  The complainant reported that someone poisoned one of her cats, according to police.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of stolen medications from a residence on N. Hwy 279.

Tuesday, December 31

*10:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3600 block of Austin Avenue regarding  the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated between the dates of November 24, 2013 and December 31st, his storage building had been broken into by an unknown subject and $633.00 worth of tools were stolen.

*1:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Melwood regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an acquaintance had stolen several things and is attempting to sell them on Facebook.

*1:46 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a cell phone was stolen from the complainant’s car sometime on December 27th.

*10:34 PM – A Brownwood Police officer, while patrolling in the 1700 block of 4th Street, observed red 2-door car with extensive front-end damage sitting with the front-end over the curb and a large amount of debris in the roadway.  Witnesses advised that an unknown male had been seen running from the scene of the accident, the report states.  An investigation is ongoing according to police.

*11:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce Street regarding an assault at Tequila Nights club.  A suspect has been identified and applicable charges have been filed according to the report.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Madeline Rae Barham on warrants related to theft and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Bryan Fellers of Santa Anna for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Early Police arrested 34-year-old Paul Anthony Sena of Early for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Jessica Ann Vasquez of Coleman on a warrant for violate promise to appear.

Wednesday, January 1

*4:38 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding an intoxicated male subject walking around the property, Southside Apartments.  This call led to the arrest of 28-year-old Alex Arellano, Jr. for public intoxication, the report states.

*5:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a report of theft in the 2300 block of Dartmore Street.  Taken was an inflatable chubby snowman with lights tied around its neck, valued at approximately $80.00.

*3:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding the theft of a cell phone earlier this date.

*11:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belmeade regarding found property.  According to the report, the homeowner had found a bicycle in the bed of a pickup in the 2500 block of Belmeade. The bicycle was logged and taken to the Brownwood Police bike impound for safe keeping.

*7:06 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of Luker Circle regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, someone forced entry into the home and stole several items including a DVD player, over 100 DVDs, a queen size Texas comforter, a Sega Genesis game system and several items of clothing.

*7:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding a theft.  According to the report, a female was detained by asset protection employees for theft less than $50.  Asset protection employees advised they had observed the female conceal items in her purse which she did not attempt to purchase.  Wal-Mart wished to pursue criminal charges and the female was issued a citation and released.

*Early police arrested 31-year-old Lasonda Hammack of Early on a warrant for theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*Early police arrested 47-year-old Frederick William Holder of Early for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Jeffrey Alan Jackson of Midland on warrants related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check and motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 3rd.

*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Nicholas Ruiz for making alcohol available to minor.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Desiree Nicole Stamper of Coleman on warrants related to expired registration, expired vehicle inspection and failure to appear.

Thursday, January 2

*12:07 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Vine Street.  During the traffic stop investigation, an odor of marijuana was detected inside the vehicle.  As the investigation continued, the front passenger, identified as 19-year-old Hayden Bowers admitted to possessing marijuana on her person and removed a small bag of marijuana from her shirt, giving it to the officer, the report states.  Bowers was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
