Wednesday, January 13
*11:23 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding an alleged sexual assault of a child. No arrests were made at the time of the report.
Friday, January 15
*2:24 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 2nd Street. This stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 56-year-old Gregory Eric Luschen of Brownwood, for driving while license invalid with prior convictions and no liability insurance.
*3:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 8th Street regarding the theft of copper/aluminum/bronze wire.
*3:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding a possible wanted person. According to the report, the wanted subject, 37-year-old Kimberlee Adams of Brownwood, was located and while conducting an interview, a controlled substance was located in Adams’ vehicle. Adams was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on the warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*7:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence in Brownwood regarding possible child abuse. This call led to a report being filed for injury to a child.
8:29 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a local manufacturing company located on South Hwy 377 in Brownwood regarding disorderly conduct. The deputy spoke with a female victim who stated that a former employee of the company had ran over her foot after a confrontation in the parking lot.
*8:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Southside Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Rayford Ballard, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Melody Beard of DeLeon, Texas on a surety withdrawal for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Beard was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Donald Augustus Pressley of DeSoto, Texas on warrants related to motions to revoke/protective order and criminal trespass.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Jeron Tyrell Roberson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Roberson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
Saturday, January 16
*4:01 PM – A Brownwood Police officer was on patrol in the 800 block of Coleman Street when she noticed a vehicle had collided with a building. The case is still active according to the report.
*12:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue D regarding a disturbance.
*7:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Vine Street regarding a runaway juvenile.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Lawrence Darnell Harling of Brownwood on a parole warrant.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Jase Monroe Storey of Blanket for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.
Sunday, January 17
*4:55 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Magnolia regarding a domestic argument.
*6:56 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Fisk Avenue regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, a bank bag containing $2,000 and a container with approximately $300 in coins were stolen from the building.
*11:36 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Hall Street and W. Austin Avenue regarding an assault which was domestic in nature.
*2:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 38-year-old Melissa Renee Pressley of San Saba for theft equal or greater than $100 less than $750.
*7:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for defective equipment. This stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 46-year-old Michael Angel Espitia of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
*8:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, an investigation is ongoing.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old James Matthew Roberts of Brookesmith on warrants related to failure to appear/assault family violence enhanced and motion to revoke/evading arrest detention (Nueces County).
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Lukas Scott Rootes of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of drug paraphernalia.
Monday, January 18
*4:08 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center, located at 1050 W. Commerce regarding a terroristic threat. The victim stated that a relative had made threats against him in the past. The victim stated that he and suspect have been in numerous altercations in the past and that he did not want her anywhere near his properties.
*6:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the call was due to loud music. Upon arrival police made contact with 52-year-old Albert Duffie of Brownwood and informed him that he was going to be issued a citation for disorderly conduct noise violation. Duffie stated that he was going to continue to play his music loud and turned his music up so loud that it was reported to have been shaking the walls and windows of the apartment, the report states. Duffie was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct – loud music.
*8:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine Street regarding an assault.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Bobby Morgan Wallace of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of public intoxication.
Tuesday, January 19
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Kristopher Michael Stewart of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.
