Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, January 19, 2012.
Tuesday, January 17
*8:58am- A Brownwood Police officer, while on duty at Brownwood High School, was called regarding a fight which occurred at the Brownwood Middle School campus at 1600 Calvert Road. According to the report, two students were involved in the fight and subsequently issued citations for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting and given three days of in school suspension and discipline.
*2:36pm-A Brownwood Police officer, while on duty at Brownwood High School, was called regarding a fight which occurred at the Brownwood Middle School campus at 1600 Calvert Road. Wednesday, January 18
*8:09am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Melwood regarding theft. According to the report, items were stolen from a storage locker near the property line sometime between the late afternoon hours of January 17th and 7:30am on January 18th. A suspect has been named, the report states.
*1:40pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had several items in the back of her pickup from moving and had walked into a friend’s apartment to eat lunch and upon returning to the truck, she noticed an axe missing. A suspect was named by the victim and confirmed by a witness to the theft. The investigation is ongoing.
*2:28pm-A Brownwood Police was driving north on Austin Avenue from Main Street when he noticed a pickup pulling a trailer that was smoking badly. The officer stopped the vehicle to check on the trailer and the truck’s occupants. The driver, 39-year-old Damonn Steven French, was determined to have a license which had expired in 2007 and no insurance, the report states. According to police records, French had multiple convictions of driving without a license and surcharge due. French stated that usually his girlfriend drives, but that she did not know how to tow a trailer so he was driving, the report states. French was arrested for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions.
*2:46pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of US Hwy 377S regarding theft. According to the report, investigation showed that several kitchen appliances had been allegedly stolen from the owners’ house by a renter when she moved out on January 16th. The suspect was not located at the time of the report.
*9:13pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue H regarding the burglary of a habitation. The report stated that an unknown suspect had knocked down the front door of the residence and that the only thing missing from the residence was a brown dachshund. A possible suspect was determined; however no arrests were made at the time of the report.
*11:32pm-A Brownwood Police officer was patrolling in the 1800 block of Avenue K when he noticed a passenger car with a shattered driver’s side window. According to the report, it appeared the window was broken by a beer bottle. No property was taken from the vehicle; however it was estimated that the damage would cost $400. A suspect was named in the incident; however the investigation is ongoing.
*Early Police arrested 23-year-old Raul Alejandro Alonzo-Juarez on a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detainer.
*Bangs Police arrested 60-year-old Randy Wayne Badger for Criminal Trespass.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Terrian Donte Henderson for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old Joshua Adam Lucier on multiple warrants which included Burglary of a Habitation, Burglary of a Building, Theft, and 5 warrants for Burglary of a Vehicle. He is currently being held in the Brown County Jail with total bonds set at $70,000 as of Thursday.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Micheal Cody Sherrod of Sidney for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Adrianne Walker for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Thursday, January 19
*3:25am-A Brownwood Police officer, while on patrol in the 2100 block of Slayden Street, noticed a vehicle quickly pull into the Brownwood High School parking lot. When the officer drove toward the vehicle, he noticed the driver, 23-year-old Jordan Miguel Collins of Comanche, and a female occupant change positions in the car. Collins was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. A voluntary blood draw was performed at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
*12:33am-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, the complainant stated that a female had come into the lounge causing problems while looking for her cell phone. He asked her to leave and she refused, the report states. The woman, identified as 35-year-old Heather DShea Scott of Zephyr was determined to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for Public Intoxication.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
