Thursday, November 7

*9:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of South U.S. Hwy 377 regarding hindering a secured creditor.  The incident is under investigation, the report states.

*1:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Avenue B regarding cruelty to non-livestock animals.  According to the report, a woman was observed near the Family Services Center hitting a dog.

*5:47 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of an assault which took place in the 2200 block of Berkley Street.  According to the report, a student of Brownwood High School had been grabbed on the arm by an unknown black male as the student walked from the high school to the Boys and Girls Club on November 5th between the hours of 3:35 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

*6:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of 7th Street regarding the theft of bicycles.  According to the report, the complainant advised that between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., an unknown subject took two bicycles from the residence.

*40-year-old Jason Todd Baker turned himself in on a Ward County warrant related to theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Reese Allen Lasly on warrants related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid and failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty  group 2-A

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 21-year-old Justin Don Lewis of Coleman on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation with intent to commit.

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 28-year-old Desiree Stamper of Coleman on warrants related to expired registration, expired motor vehicle inspection and failure to appear.
