Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
Monday, January 16
*11:32am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Vine Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a tool box with hand tools, which is valued at $500, had been stolen sometime between 7:20pm on January 15th and 11:00am on January 16th. The complainant stated that her son hosted a party at the residence and that an unknown subject had stolen the tools. At the time of the report, the complainant’s son had not been interviewed and there are no known suspects. The complainant did wish to pursue criminal charges if a suspect could be identified.
*7:20pm-Brownwood Police responded to the report of a burglary in the 2100 block of 6th Street. According to the report, several items were stolen from a secured detached garage at the residence. Stolen items included an arc welder which was valued at $300. There were no suspects at the time of the report; however the investigation is ongoing.
Tuesday, January 17
*10:00am-Brownwood Police received some expired prescription medication from a subject at the Law Enforcement Center who wished for it to be destroyed. According to the report, the medication was placed in the evidence lockers for later disposal.
*10:05am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 8th Street regarding a suspicious person and missing railroad equipment. The reporting parties, an employee of Texas Rock Crusher Railroad and an employee of BNSF, were not able to positively identify scrap metal as belonging to either railroad.
*2:10pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Avenue D regarding the theft of medication. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject stole her hydrocodone pills. She believed that it happened at her place of employment, the report states.
*3:14pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 1000 Center Avenue regarding the theft of a bicycle. According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between 2:00pm on January 16th and 9:15am on January 17th, someone stole his bicycle. The estimated value of the bicycle is $600 and the complainant does wish to pursue charges if a suspect can be identified.
*5:59pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, officers were advised that the disturbance was occurring in the apartments behind an apartment at that location. This call led to the arrest of 33-year-old Billy Joe Brummet for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and 29-year-old Frank William Brummet for Public Intoxication.
*8:12pm-Brownwood Police met with an employee of Wal-Mart who dropped off a large amount of property accumulated in the store’s lost and found. The property was secured at the Brownwood Police Department’s evidence room.
*9:37pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Vincent regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone threw a small piece of brass at his bedroom window, causing a fist sized hole in the bottom left corner of the pain. The damage was estimated to cost $40 to repair.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Roger Dale Hamrick of Blanket for Possession of a Controlled Substance less than 1g.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 20-year-old Juan Mendoza on a border patrol hold.
Thursday, January 18
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Terrian Donte Henderson for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Adrianne Walker for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
