Wednesday, November 5
*4:39 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, $129.79 in alcoholic beverages was stolen from the store. An investigation is ongoing and no arrest had been made at the time of the report.
Thursday, November 6
*9:23 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on Avenue E regarding a theft which had occurred at Walmart. No arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*9:29 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Parkway Drive due to the driver not wearing a seat belt. According to the report, as the traffic stop was conducted, the driver 29-year-old Alex Arrellano of Brownwood appeared very nervous and was arrested after a brief struggle and foot pursuit. Arrellano was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, evading arrest and or detention, driving with license invalid with previous conviction, the report states.
*11:49 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of S. Greenleaf Street regarding criminal mischief. A suspect is known, according to the report.
*2:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Bailey Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a vacuum cleaner was stolen during the incident. Possible suspects were named, the report states.*5:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Asbury regarding criminal mischief.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Travis Don Bankhead of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 2nd.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 18-year-old Jon Devin Canon of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear on class C offenses, expired driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license.
Friday, November 7
*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Elijah Ray Jones of Brownwood on warrants related to no motorcycle endorsement, operate unregistered motor vehicle and failure to appear.
