Monday, November 4
*10:23 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a woman’s 22-speed bicycle, valued at $350, was stolen from the sidewalk in front of the complainant’s apartment.
*10:49 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the area of Abilene Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a relative had damaged her vehicle during an argument. Although the complainant did not wish to file charges, a criminal trespass warning was issued to the relative for the her property at the complainant’s request.
*11:43 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Durham Avenue regarding theft of property. According to the report, an unknown suspect cut the copper leads off of the complainant’s welder and removed them without permission. An investigation is ongoing.
*3:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, a loss prevention employee identified the suspect who had allegedly stolen a deck of Magic the Gathering cards valued at $29.98. The stolen item was returned to the store and the suspect was issued a citation for theft of property less than $50, the report states.Tuesday, November 5
*2:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, three generators had been stolen from the store. According to store employees, three male subjects had stolen two 1200 watt generators and one 4200 watt generator, valued at $895.00.
*4:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street regarding a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, two game systems, 4 games, and a girls bicycle were stolen from the residence. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $770.00.
*4:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding the theft of a cellular phone. According to the report, the complainant left a cell phone at the suspect’s home (who is also a relative) would not return the phone when requested this date. The complainant requested to file charges on the suspect, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Charles Devlyn Dyess on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
* 27-year-old Landon Chace Westerman of Grapevine turned himself in on indictments related to improper relationship between educator/student and online solicitation of minor sexual conduct.
