Thursday, January 8

* 5:30 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had used her debit card without her consent at a Kroger grocery store located in Sugarland, TX.

Monday, January 12

*4:07 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding credit/debit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that known suspects had used her debit card without her consent to purchase a room at the Comfort Inn in Early, TX.

*4:52 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Belle Plain, Food Mart, regarding theft.  According to the report, about $100 in cash was stolen from a dropped wallet which had been dropped.  A suspect has been identified, according to the report.

*6:14 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 1st Street regarding child pornography on a computer recently purchased by the complainant.  The complainant turned the computer over to law enforcement for further investigation.

*7:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Wood Avenue regarding criminal mischief.

*8:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Cordell Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the caller stated that a male subject was on scene and had thrown something at her vehicle causing damage to it.  An investigation determined that the caller had damaged the male’s cell phone before he had damaged her vehicle.  The incident was documented, the report states.

Tuesday, January 13

*2:12 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Main Street regarding a wanted person.  According to the report, 30-year-old Justin Arredondo of Brownwood was arrested for a parole violation.

*4:35 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hidden Valley Dr. in Brownwood regarding the theft of electricity.  According to the report, the complainant stated her neighbor was using her electricity without her knowledge.  The deputy observed an electrical extension cord plugged into the shed behind Katrina’s residence leading directly the neighbor’s RV trailer, which he lives in.

*5:01 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant who stated someone had taken her son’s black iPod touch without her consent.  The complainant stated the iPod was taken some time back in April of 2014, but she thought her son had misplaced it so she never reported it missing.

*5:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Hickory Street regarding a terroristic threat.

*6:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Avenue D regarding illegal dumping.  According to the report, the complainant’s stated that their ex-landlord had dumped trash in their backyard.

*9:21 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 2800 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the complainants advised that their vehicle was stolen and had been wrecked.  The vehicle was located and witnesses were identified, the report states.  A possible suspect was named, according to the deputy’s report.

Wednesday, January 14

*1:14 AM – A Brownwood Police officer made contact with a female in the 1600 block of Avenue E who was found to be under the age of 21 and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath or person.  The female admitted to having consumed alcoholic beverages.  She was subsequently issued a citation for minor in consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
