Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, January 14, 2011.
Wednesday, January 12
*2:23pm-Brownwood Police responded to a home in the 1400 block of 12th Street regarding the theft of prescription drugs. After a brief investigation by police, the complainant admitted that she made up the story of the theft in order to get a refill on the prescription. The police report stated that this subject has done this before.
*4:06pm- A man reported to police that he had an air compressor stolen out of his pickup truck.
Thursday, January 13
*10:23am- Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft at the Allsups convenient store located on W. Commerce. The report stated that a 30 pack of beer was taken.
*10:22pm- Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Bluffview. The female victim told police that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend who had left the area. The police report stated that the victim did not wish to pursue charges and couldn’t provide much information about her boyfriend.
*Texas DPS arrested 51-year-old Rhonda Clark Riley of Rising Star for DWI.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
