Tuesday, November 24

*9:01 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of the theft of a necklace.  The complainant requested criminal trespass warnings be issued to two named suspects.

*12:21 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of a stolen debit card being used at a convenience store on Hwy 279 near Lake Brownwood.

Wednesday, November 25

*9:04 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of a burglary at a local pharmacy.  According to the report, an unknown subject broke into Live Oak Pharmacy, located in the 3700 block of Austin Avenue.  According to the report, various prescription medications along with a firearm were stolen from the building.

*10:03 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 20000 block of US Hwy 183 North in May, Texas for an expired registration.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 22-year-old Lance Lynn Robertson of May, Texas, was found to have multiple suspensions on his driver’s license. Robertson was subsequently arrested for driving while license invalid without financial responsibility.

*11:58 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of found property.  According to the report, the complainant found a suitcase containing personal papers and pictures on the bridge at the Colorado River on Hwy 45 in Mills County.  The deputy located a family member and has released the property, the report states.

*5:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding theft.  As a result of this call, a female suspect, identified as 18-year-old Dayla Scheriger of Early, was arrested for theft of property greater than $100 less than $750.

*6:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 1st Street regarding an assault.

*8:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was contacted by Brownwood Police regarding a suicide attempt within the city of Brownwood.  According to the report, the subject had taken pills which were found at an abandoned residence outside of Bangs.  The deputy located the residence and found several bottles of various medications which were seized and removed from the residence.  The owner of the property was contacted and stated they had not realized the medication was in the residence and asked that it be destroyed, the report states.

*Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 47-year-old Bobby Gene Harwell, Jr. and 51-year-old Samuel Wesley Harwell, both of Brownwood.  Each were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by felon.

Thursday, November 26

*1:31 AM – Brownwood Police attempted to make a traffic stop on a motorcycle at the intersection of Avenue K and Austin Avenue.  According to the report, the motorcycle failed to pull over after the patrol unit’s lights and sirens were activated and began a pursuit through the area, coming to a stop in the 2600 block of Austin Avenue.  After a short foot pursuit, officers arrested the driver, identified as 29-year-old Payden Blaine Blackburn of Brownwood, for evading arrest/detention with vehicle, resist arrest search or transport, driving with license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility and on 5 surety withdrawals related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 4 grams, resist arrest, two counts driving while license invalid and driving while license invalid with previous convictions.  Blackburn was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $55,000 as of Monday morning.

*9:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 59-year-old Thomas Hyman Bryant of Brownwood on charges of disorderly conduct breach of peace and retaliation.

Friday, November 27

*1:08 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Adams Street regarding a welfare check.  According to the report, while at the location, the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Zachary Michael Green, committed the offenses of public intoxication, resist arrest search or transport and assault on public servant.

*8:23 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Street and Avenue B regarding suspicious circumstances.  According to the report, an incident of criminal mischief had occurred and resulted in the damage or destruction of park landscaping at Thomason Park.

*10:44 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Avenue I regarding the theft of an air compressor.

*11:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue B regarding the theft of a firearm.  According to the report, a .22 caliber pistol was stolen from a gun case inside the residence.

*11:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Fisk Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.   According to the report, a male subject, identified as 28-year-old Kenney Lee Craney of Brownwood, admitted he had assaulted the victim.  Craney was subsequently arrested for assault family violence.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Michael Joe Anderson of Rising Star for driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Timothy Allen French of Brownwood for disorderly conduct.

*22-year-old Christopher B. Rose of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.

Saturday, November 28

*5:18 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance which was occurring in an apartment.  Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Chadly Musick of May, Texas, as well as the victim and two witnesses.  An investigation showed that Musick was the primary aggressor and had caused the victim visible bodily injury.  Musick was subsequently placed under arrest for assault family violence causing bodily injury.  Musick was also issued an emergency protective order from the victim.

*8:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a male subject, identified as 30-year-old Christopher Andrew Abney of Brownwood, was arrested for theft of property less than $100.  According to the report, a Magic Cards gift set, food and over the counter medication and Blue-Ray movies were stolen in the incident.

*8:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 8th Street regarding a domestic disturbance and assault.  According to the report, the two subjects had left the scene; however, an investigation showed that the male half was the victim of domestic violence.  A suspect, who was not on scene, was identified and later located at a property on Slayden Street.

*9:32 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her daughter had been dealing with ongoing harassment from a known subject, who stated he had nude photos of the complainant’s daughter and was threatening to release them.  The complainant and her daughter wished to pursue charges against the male subject.

Sunday, November 29

*1:34 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an assault.

*6:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a witness stated the stolen property was recovered and that the suspect fled from the scene on foot.

*9:59 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of an assault with a deadly weapon via telephone.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband had pulled a .22 caliber rifle on her the previous night while the two were arguing.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of theft from an elderly complainant.  According to the report, two handmade aluminum ramps and a 5-gallon gas can were stolen from the complainant’s property.  A possible suspect was named, the report states.

Monday, November 30

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Samuel Touchon of New Braunfels on a Comal County warrant.
