Monday, November 22

*10:00am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue A regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  The complainant stated that his vehicle was broken into and several bottles of medication and tools were taken.

*11:35am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 16th regarding found property.  A man found a bicycle in his backyard.  The bicycle was taken to the BPD impound for safe keeping until its owner claims i

Sunday, November 28

*7:29pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a possible burglary of a habitation on County Road 569.  When the officer arrived, the complainant stated that she believed a named suspect had cut leashes of her dogs to let them go.  The complainant also stated that she believed someone was trying to kill her dogs due to large rocks and cinder blocks thrown into the yard as if someone had thrown them at the dogs when they were running loose.  The dogs were uninjured at the time of the report.  The complainant also reported that the suspects were believed to have entered a trailer house located on her property looking for something to steal.

Monday, November 29

*8:55am-Brownwood Police were called to Brookshire’s regarding a report of theft.  According to the report, a female subject had consumed a small amount of fruit while in the store and was leaving without paying for the fruit.  The female subject was issued a trespass warning for the store.  No charges for theft had been filed at the time of the report.

*2:06pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft of property.  A complainant stated that she was awarded a 38 foot long livestock trailer with three compartments and hydraulic brakes through a divorce in 2006.  According to the report, the complainant explained that her ex-husband refused to release the trailer to her from where it was being stored.  She advised that on November 19th she located the trailer on Craigslist for sale.

*4:29pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding an intoxicated female.  The call led to the arrest of 48-year-old Glenda Kay Cornelius for Public Intoxication.

*11:34pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle for stop, stand or park in roadway.  The driver was identified as 46-year-old James Connor Christian.  Investigation led the officer to believe that Christian was intoxicated the police report states.  Christian was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the BRMC emergency room for a blood specimen.

Tuesday, November 30

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Irvin Cornejo of Ennis for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Luis Tamez of Mesquite for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
