Wednesday, November 23rd
* 9:21 a.m. Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke with an individual at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a theft. According to the report the complainant stated a known suspect took property valued over $750 from him without his consent.
* 12:51 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 4th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report a female at the residence had been assaulted.
* 1:14 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call regarding theft at the 1000 block of West Commerce Street. According to the report several items of jewelry and collectable coins were taken. The investigation is ongoing.
* 1:40 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to Alamo Court regarding harassment. A report was filed.
* 6:47 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Victoria regarding an assault. A female victim was documented with minor injuries. A female suspect was identified. A report was filed.
* 9:36 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a convince store near the 600 block of West Commerce Street regarding a counterfeit $100 bill. A suspect was named and officers placed the counterfeit bill into evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
* 10:02 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding an unwanted person. A female victim stated her ex-boyfriend was knocking on her door, in direct violation of a protective order against the suspect. A report was completed.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 48 year old Allen Leon Dudley for Failure to Appear, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
Thursday, November 24th
* 1:51 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of East Baker Street regarding a dispute. According to the report a female at the residence was assaulted by a male. A report for family violence was filed.
* 3:56 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Main Street regarding a domestic disturbance. After investigation of the incident, officers issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
* 5:20 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance at the 1800 block of 10th Street. According to the report two females were documented with minor injuries after an argument.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 46 year old Kelly Hobbs, of Austin, on a warrant regarding Driving While Intoxicated/Travis County. Hobbs was later released from the Brown County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
Friday, November 25th
* 1:18 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a criminal mischief call from the 1700 block of 6th Street. A report was generated for the incident.
* 1:11 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of 4th Street regarding a harassment call. Upon arrival officers discovered two subjects in possession of stolen items after speaking with witnesses at the scene. Officers arrested one minor and 18 year old Nicholas Osbourne Johnson Jr. for Burglary of a Vehicle and Theft of a Firearm.
* 1:36 p.m Brownwood Police were called to 401 West Commerce Street to the Walmart for theft. According to the report, a Norelco shaver, a Dyson vacuum cleaner, and Walmart gift cards were stolen. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
* 4:07 p.m. Brownwood Police were again called to 401 West Commerce Street to the Walmart for a forgery/counterfeiting complaint. According to the report, husband and wife team presented counterfeit $100 bills in an attempt to purchase sweet tea and Dr. Pepper. The couple visited two separate registers and individually purchased items, each receiving over $90 in change from the counterfeit bills. Officers spoke with a loss prevention agent and located the suspects who had returned to the store. Reagan J. Burns and Lora K. Burns were both arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for Class B Misdemeanor Theft and Forgery of Government Currency, a 3rd Degree Felony charge.
* 8:27 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Temple Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. A female at the residence had reportedly been assaulted.
* Brownwood Police arrested 31 year old Jose Claudio Galaviz Jr. for warrants related to Assault of a Family Member/with Previous Convictions. Galaviz was released from the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $20,000.
* Bangs Police arrested 19 year old Jessie Devin Walker on a warrant regarding Assault. Walker was later released from the Brown County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
Saturday, November 26th
* 12:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of N. US 183 in reference to a reckless driver. Officers made contact with the reported vehicle. After conducting field tests, officers arrested 38 year old Joshua Donovan Mejia, of San Antonio, for Driving While Intoxicated. Mejia was later released from the Brown County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
* 1:49 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a criminal mischief call near the 1600 block of Good Shepherd. According to the report, a resident at the address discovered two windows of a vehicle had been smashed. The complainant wished to press charges. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.
* 2:28 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the scene of an accident near the 700 block of Norwood Street. Investigation of the incident led to the arrest of 19 year old Brady Race Reeves for Driving While Intoxicated. Reeves was released from the Brown County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
* 7:29 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers identified the primary aggressor in an altercation between two females. Statements were taken from witnesses as well as the victim. Officers arrested 19 year old Jennifer Leeann Salazar for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Unlawful Restraint. Salazar was later released from the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $8,000.
* 9:51 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a walk-in at the Law Enforcement Center. A male subject reported his wife had assaulted him earlier that morning. A report was filed.
* 10:45 p.m. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a driver exceeding the speed limit and disregarding a stop sign on a farm to market road. Upon completing a traffic stop and investigation, the deputy arrested 24 year old Jacob Winston Womack for Possession of Marijuana. Womack was later released from the Brown County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
* 11:00 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1700 block of Brooks Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, a “lover’s quarrel” had taken place at a bar/nightclub earlier in the evening, in which a male assaulted another male. A report has been filed.
* Brownwood Police arrested 45 year old Hans Adrian Escamilla on a parole related warrant.
* Brownwood Police arrested 35 year old Nichole Marie Tatum Sanchez, of May, for Theft of Property: under $2,500 with 2 or more previous convictions. Sanchez was released from the Brown County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
Sunday, November 27th
* 3:40 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Avenue J for a “noise nuisance” call. After further investigation, officers issued several citations for Minor in Possession.
* 7:21 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue for a burglary of a habitation. Suspects gained entry to the residence forcibly through a window, and stole a pistol. Fingerprints and other evidence collected at the scene were logged as evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
* 12:43 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Rhodes Road in reference to a domestic disturbance. A male and female at the residence were involved in an argument. Minor injuries were documented.
* 12:37 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1500 block of 6th Street regarding an assault. Officers spoke with the victim and filed a report.
* 1:01 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1300 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a theft of property. According to the report building materials including sheets of plywood and roofing shingles were taken. A report has been filed.
* 7:58 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Avenue J regarding a theft. Upon arrival officers were informed two shotguns were stolen from the residence. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.
* 8:44 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Greenway Drive for a domestic disturbance. According to the report a male subject assaulted a female at the residence, causing bodily injury. A report was filed.
Monday, November 28th
* 12:30 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 7th Street for a domestic disturbance. A man living at the residence reported his son’s girlfriend assaulted him and fled on foot. Officers conducted a search for the suspect, but were unable to locate them. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.
