Monday, November 19
*2:41p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Elizabeth regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, $11.00 of porcelain tile, $7.35 of ceramic tile, $14.99 of sheetrock joint compound, $39.78 worth of paint and $22.96 worth of laminate were stolen from the residence.
Wednesday, November 21
*9:04a.m.-Brownwood Police responded with Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS to the 300 block of W. Anderson Street regarding an unresponsive male. According to the report, the investigation determined that the male had smoked some illegal substance from a glass pipe prior to the call. The male was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room for medical evaluation and a female was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, the report states.
*9:42a.m.-Brownwood Police received a report of counterfeit money in the 400 block of W. Commerce. According to the report, four $20 counterfeit bills were found to have been passed at the business and an investigation is ongoing.
*4:06p.m.-Brownwood Police met with a subject at a residence in the 1500 block of Avenue A regarding found property. According to the report, the calling party stated that at approximately 3:00p.m., he was walking beside Hastings Bookstore and located a black touch screen phone, which was laying on the ground on the east side of the store. The phone was collected and entered into the Brownwood Police Department evidence room.
*4:56p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. According to the report, a male subject stole a 47 inch television. Employees were able to get the suspect’s license plate number and stated that they wished to pursue criminal charges. No arrest had been made at the time of the report; however, the investigation is ongoing.
*5:20p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of 4th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a Remington .25-06 rifle was stolen from the vehicle and the incident was believed to have occurred between November 14-20 at an unknown location.
*6:13p.m.-Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of 1st Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the investigation determined that a female subject had attempted to assault her sister while at the residence. During this assault, a child was reported to have been struck in the head; however, when the officer arrived, the child was uninjured and the suspect had fled the residence.
*6:52p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Commerce Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant was at a red light in the 100 block of Commerce Street when she yielded to a vehicle that was stopping in front of her when the accident occurred. The complainant described a silver 4-door vehicle with a dent in the driver’s side door rear ended her, the report states. The officer observed that the complainant’s vehicle had damage to the rear bumper, which was loose and that paint was scratched off.
*7:04p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Main Blvd. regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that her boyfriend had pushed her down and impeded her airway. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and could not be located at the time of the report.
*9:00 p.m. – Early Police Officer Stephanie Haile observed and stopped a vehicle that pull onto the roadway in the 600 block of Early Blvd without their headlights on. Once Officer Haile made contact with the vehicle, she could smell a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle, according to the police report. Officer Haile removed the driver from the vehicle and searched it, at which time she located approximately 16 grams of marijuana and some methamphetamine. Haile also located several items of paraphernalia in the vehicle, according to the report. The driver, Dianne Bardwell Graham, was placed under arrest for charges of possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*9:51p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 8th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had entered her vehicle and removed money from her wallet.
Friday, November 23
*12:03a.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Pecan Street regarding a disturbance. According to the report, one of the two subjects involved in the disturbance had left his wallet. The mother of the owner of the wallet was contacted but was out of town, so the wallet was placed into the evidence room of the Brownwood Police Department for safekeeping until the owner can come and claim it.
*3:05a.m.-A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver inbound to Brownwood. The deputy was able to get a reading on his radar of 69 in a 60 mph zone, the report states. According to the report, the male driver gave a false identification at first, but was later positively identified as 39-year-old Russell Chris Jones and found to have three outstanding warrants as well as 3 or more prior DWI arrests. Jones was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to identify, and the three outstanding warrants from Taylor and Gaines Counties.
*1:32p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Temple Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, a mini bike valued at $900 was taken from the residence.
*1:46p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Dublin Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the passenger door of her vehicle was damaged, as if kicked in, sometime during the overnight hours. It was estimated that the damage would cost around $1300 to repair, the report states.
*2:31p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, a man was caught stealing candy which was observed on the store’s video surveillance system on November 18th at 3:57 p.m. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges and the male was issued a citation for theft under $50 and issued a criminal trespass warning, the report states.
*9:24p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the area of W. Austin Avenue and W. Commerce Street regarding reckless driving. According to the report, a motorcyclist, identified as 48-year-old Joseph Daniel Maxwell, was stopped for traffic violations. During the stop, Maxwell admitted to having been drinking and was determined to be intoxicated, the report states. Maxwell was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
*11:46p.m.-Brownwood Police observed a dark colored four-door pickup driving recklessly and traveling south on 4th Street at Roselawn. According to the report, the officer was unable to obtain the vehicle’s speed by radar, but noted it was traveling at a high rate of speed in excess of the 30 mph speed limit as it was passing a vehicle. The officer stated that the vehicle failed to yield to his emergency lights and siren and a pursuit was initiated. No arrest was made at the time of the report.
Saturday, November 24
*12:00a.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Magnolia regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the call led to the arrest of 22-year-old Shanelle Renee Reynolds for assault with injury family violence.
*12:47a.m.-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant’s black iPhone 3GS was lost or possibly stolen.
*3:58a.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Hawkins Street regarding an accident. According to the report, a security officer had found that a gray Chevy Camaro had wrecked into a post and a tree. This call resulted in the driver being given a citation for driving under the influence, no driver’s license and failed to control speed, the report states.
*8:22a.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Dallas Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant stated that she heard a loud crash and looked out the door. She stated she saw a white pick-up truck a short distance from the van turning onto Walnut Street, the report states. There was damage to the van’s front bumper and right front quarter panel, along with white transfer paint on the bumper and quarter panel of the van, the report states.
*7:30p.m.-Brownwood Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2300 block of 1st Street. According to police, this call led to the arrest of a female identified as 28-year-old Carrie Bloomer for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more; resisting arrest, search or transport; evading arrest/detention; and accident involving damage. Bloomer left the scene on foot and led officers on a short foot chase, according to police.
*11:00p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of 8th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the reporting party stated while in his back yard, he heard a loud noise come from the alley behind his residence. When he went to the alley to investigate, he observed a large vehicle traveling down the alley which had driven through a cable and over two metal posts that supported the cable, the report states.
*11:22p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding a large party where minors were reported to be drinking and possibly smoking narcotics. According to the report, the reporting party stated that the subjects were drinking on the balcony and smoking narcotics. The call resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Stevie Rose and 18-year-old Shantel Ware for making alcohol available to minors.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Gregory Coleman Hawkins of Lubbock for possession of a dangerous drug; possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and minor in possession of alcohol.

Sunday, November 25
*1:17a.m.-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that he was assaulted by two men at a party after one man made rude comments about his sister. The victim left the party and his sister drove him to the emergency room for treatment of his injuries, the report states.
*2:52a.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Belle Plain regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a male suspect had caused damage to the windshield and hood of her vehicle and had been making threats that he would damage her vehicle as well as others at her residence before he had caused damage to her vehicle which was in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Criminal charges are being pursued.
*10:28a.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Main Blvd. regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had broken into their grandson’s unlocked vehicle and stolen a Winchester model 94 30-30 between the hours of 5:25 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. At the time of the report, there were no known suspects; however, the complainant did wish to pursue criminal charges if a suspect is identified.
*11:16a.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, the reporting party observed the female suspect take two items (valued at $25.98) and leave the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The business wished to pursue criminal charges and wished for a criminal trespass warning to be issued. The female suspect, identified as Mandy Mae Barker of Deleon, was found to have two active warrants and was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail.
*12:11p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 12th Street regarding theft.
*12:17p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belle Plain regarding the burglary of a habitation which had occurred the morning before.
*1:09 p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 5th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the suspect was identified as the victim’s boyfriend. The complainant and witnesses were interviewed by police, which led to an investigation of assault with injury by strangulation, unlawful restraint and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
*4:16p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 13th Street regarding a hit and run accident.
*4:30p.m.-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding found property. According to the report, the complainant found a large sum of money and wanted to turn it in. The money was counted, verified and placed into the Brownwood Police Department evidence room for safekeeping.
*6:34p.m.-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Center Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen two decorations from in front of her apartment. The items stolen included a 1 ½ foot tall blue and white ceramic elephant and a ceramic pot valued at $40 each, the report states.
*8:14p.m.-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 4th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject had entered her home and stole approximately $20 in change. The complainant did not see the male nor did she know what direction he had fled when leaving her home, the report states.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 18-year-old Delbert Roy Russell, Jr. for public intoxication.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Hardy Wayne Worsham of Coleman for driving while intoxicated.
