Monday, November 23
*8:31 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a vehicle at a local auto dealership was “keyed” on the tailgate and the front and rear doors of the driver’s side.
*9:37 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of the sexual assault of a child. According to the report, the complainant stated a known juvenile sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female.
*11:35 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of the sexual assault of a child. According to the report, the complainant stated that her juvenile daughter was involved in a sexual relationship with someone over the age of 18.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Ashland Clark of Staford, Texas on warrants related to three counts engaging in organized criminal activity/forgery. Clark was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $35,000 as of Tuesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Regina Yvonne Holmes of Bangs on warrants related to speeding and failure to appear.
*28-year-old Daniel Lee Mendietta turned himself in on a probation violation and two Travis County warrants related to driving while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Fredric Rodriguez of Brady on warrants related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and driving while intoxicated 2nd. Rodriguez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $39,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Kelli Dawn Sikes of Abilene on warrants related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property greater than $50 less than $500, on failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, and Driving while intoxicated 2nd.
Tuesday, November 24
*7:52 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding the theft of property. According to the report, two rings had been stolen and a suspect was named.
*10:42 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Looney Street regarding theft of property. According to the report, the complainant reported four cases of known suspects who were in breach of their rental contracts and all refused to pay what they owed or to return the merchandise.
*11:50 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a cell phone tower site located on County Road 620 in Blanket regarding the theft of copper. According to the report, someone had stolen copper from the tower site earlier that morning.
*11:36 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft of property. According to the report, a cross was stolen from the complainant’s property.
*1:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of C.C. Woodson Road regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a window was broken out of the complainant’s vehicle and her purse was stolen.
*2:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that he was assaulted by a known suspect.
*2:49 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Valley Vista Drive in Early regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated she had just been assaulted by a relative. While speaking with the complainant, the suspect arrived on scene and spoke with one of the deputies, the report states. Both parties decided not to press charges and were separated to ensure there would be no chance of any further violence occurring, according to the report.
*6:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Vine Street regarding burglary. According to the report, a cell phone, electronics, personal items and power tools were taken during the burglary.
*7:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on 1st Street regarding the possible theft of a bicycle. The ownership of the bicycle could not be proven at the time of the report, according to police.
*8:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Julia Court regarding a burglary.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Farrah Renee Boykin of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear and no driver’s license.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Russell Wane Schwartz of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Schwartz was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
