Thursday, November 20
*1:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Greenleaf regarding a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of Charles Johnson for assault family violence causing bodily injury.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft. According to the report, the owner of Lone Star Taxidermy reported that several skins had been taken by a known subject to be tanned in August; however the skins had not been returned to date. The total value of the deer skins is $1900.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault. According to the report, the female complainant stated that a Hispanic male had waved her down and told her she had a flat tire. The male then attacked her while she was looking at her tires, according to the report. The deputy noted that the female did have a few scrapes and bruises. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*A Brown County Constable arrested 17-year-old Serjio Efrain Castillo of Brownwood on two counts of failure to attend school.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Christopher James Cotton of Brownwood for motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Early Police arrested 20-year-old Steven Frias of Belle Vernon Pennsylvania on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft of property greater than $20 less than $500.
*53-year-old Carolina Sanchez Garza of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to accident involving damage to vehicle less than or equal to $200.
*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Monica Kay Hernandez for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden of Brownwood for warrants related to failure to appear/resist arrest search or transport, failure to appear interfere with public duties and failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Charmayne Waller on Tom Green county warrants related to unauthorized absence correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance.
Friday, November 21
* Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Sandra Nadia Sanchez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
