Friday, November 16

*12:28am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that medication was stolen from his mailbox.

*3:15pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Coleman Street regarding theft.

*6:43pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Bailey Street regarding a runaway juvenile.  According to the report, the complainant’s mother spoke to the officer and advised one of her son’s foster children had not returned home from school and was gone without permission.

*11:09pm- A Brownwood Police officer was in the 1500 block of Davis Lane when a parking violation was noticed.  According to the report, the officer observed a pickup parked in a handicap parking place at Wildwood Apartments, which was not displaying a handicap placard.  As the officer approached the vehicle to make contact, the driver stepped out and closed the door, the report states.  Alcohol was observed both inside the cab and in the bed of the pickup and the driver was subsequently issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 38-year-old William Derek Groves of Lampasas for driving while license invalid.

* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 27-year-old Derrick Eugene Jackson of White House for driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Albert Salazar for failure to identify fugitive and on an outstanding warrant.

Saturday, November 17

*7:53am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a female subject had stolen her keys.  After speaking with the subject, she advised that the complainant had assaulted her and stolen $280.

*11:32am- A Brownwood Police was on patrol in the 2300 block of Durham Avenue regarding an animal complaint.  According to the report, the officer observed a male on a bicycle being chased by two dogs.  The owners of the dogs were issued citations for animal at large.

*12:45pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Oakland Terrace regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person “keyed” his vehicle.

*2:05pm-Brownwood Police received a report of reckless driving in the area of Crockett Drive and Morris Shepherd Drive.

*4:46pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Crothers Street regarding a possible sexual assault of a child.  A suspect has been identified; however no details of the incident were released, nor were any arrests made at the time of the report.

*6:16pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that two televisions and one window air conditioning unit was stolen from his residence.

*8:59pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of N. Hwy 183 regarding a subject driving slowly down the roadway.  According to the report, dispatch also advised that the suspect vehicle appeared to be damaged as if it had been in an accident.  The officer arrived to find the vehicle in the 6000 block of Airport Road obstructing the roadway.  Upon getting behind the vehicle, the officer stated that the vehicle began moving again at 5 mph and then came to a stop after the officer initiated his overhead lights, the report states.  When the officer got out to make contact with the driver, he then drove away, but came to a stop in front of the airport terminal a short time later, according to the report.  This call led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 74-year-old Pedro Delarosa, for driving while intoxicated and evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.

*9:52pm-Brownwood Police were called a residence in the 2300 block of 1st Street regarding a suspicious call.  According to the report, the officer arrived to find a group of people standing outside of a residence down the street.  A female stated that she was assaulted by a male subject who had broken out two windows on the front door and broken a window on the side of the house, the report states.  The male subject also reported that he had been assaulted, according to the report.  The officer made a report regarding the incident upon the request of three subjects on scene.

*11:51pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Schroeder Lane regarding juveniles fighting.  According to the report, the officer arrived to find that only a verbal argument had occurred between three juveniles.  One of the juveniles was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of tobacco, and then he was released to his mother.

*11:54pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce regarding a male who was starting fights with other customers.  According to the report, 26-year-old Joshua Cody Ross was identified as the suspect and was found to be intoxicated.  He stated that he was “going to buy some ammo and go shoot his gun,” the report states.  Ross was found to have physically assaulted a male subject who declined pressing charges; however, Ross was arrested for public intoxication 3rd enhanced and issued a criminal trespass warning for 401 W. Commerce at the request of Wal-Mart management, the report states.

*Early Police arrested 52-year-old David Franklin Clark for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Britney Nicole Newton for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Early Police arrested 20-year-old Nathan Monroe Thompson of Boswell, OK for Public Intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Kamron Chalker Thornhill for public intoxication.

Sunday, November 18

*8:52am-Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that a known subject stole several tools and clothes from the bed of a pickup as well as from outside the residence.

*11:53am-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Main Street regarding an expired vehicle registration sticker.  The driver of the vehicle, identified as 30-year-old Nicholous Leroy Hutchison, was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

*1:44pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Belle Plain regarding an assault.  According to the report, the suspect is known.

*5:36pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Irma Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the investigation determined that 36-year-old Patricia Chancellor was the primary aggressor in a domestic assault.  Chancellor was arrested for assault by threat family member and assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*5:42pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while the vehicle was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot, the left tail light and rear bumper of her vehicle were damaged.  The damage was estimated at $1000, the report states.  The incident took place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Dustin Lee Dobbins for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Early Police arrested 64-year-old Herman W. Dunlap of Zephyr for driving while intoxicated.
