Thursday, November 12
*11:35 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd regarding an assault. A possible suspect has been named.
*2:15 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 4300 block of Brookdale regarding a disturbance. As a result of the call, 54-year-old David Antoine Williams was arrested for criminal mischief and terror threat of family/household, according to jail records.
*4:42 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a business in the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a possible scam. The store manager told police that an employee had been contacted by a subject with a number out of Alabama. The caller claimed to be a service representative for the phone card machine. The suspect was able to convince an employee to give him several pins off of the phone card.
*6:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding theft. Police were advised that money had been stolen from their residence.
*8:21 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the law enforcement center to speak to a complainant wishing to press criminal charges.
*8:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding a citizens dispute. Upon investigation, the assaulted party did not wish to pursue charges. The other party involved, identified as 20-year-old Levi Benton Alcorn, was placed under arrest for public intoxication by minor, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 60-year-old Virgil Bruce Cross of Blanket on a warrant for motion to revoke a bond/delivery of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Cynthia Lorene Flanagan on warrants for driving while license invalid, unrestrained animals and too many animals.
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Rafael Lara on a parole violation.
