Friday, November 7
*4:28 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding trespassing. According to the report, the complainant stated that she has power of attorney over her brother who is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s disease and that she has been having troubles with other relatives coming to his residence and agitating him. The complainant wished for the three relatives to be criminally trespassed from the property.
Monday, November 10
*11:28 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Seneca Circle in May regarding a burglary. According to the report, the only items taken were a white ceramic-type box and approximately $700 in change.
Wednesday, November 12
*10:02 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location on N. Hwy 183 in May. According to the report, the caller stated that several donkeys had been left at the property several weeks ago and that the property owner has not been able to locate the animals’ owner. The property owner wished for the animals to be strayed, the report states.
*1:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, 22-year-old Christopher Deion Rainey of Killeen was observed shoplifting store merchandise. Rainey was subsequently arrested for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500, the report states.
*7:46 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft via phone call. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone came onto the property on County Road 305 where he was setting up a deer lease. He stated a game camera took photos of a suspect vehicle, a white Chevy pickup, which had come onto the property and when it left, an Amara Stepp doghouse style deer blind was stolen from the property, the report states. The deer blind was valued at approximately $100.
*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Donald Eddington of Brownwood for assault family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Manuel Mantos of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Alexander Jose Martinez of Goldthwaite on warrants related to a surety withdrawal for fraud/destroy/remove/conceal and a probation violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Tiffany Rene Newman of Brownwood on warrants related to no valid inspection certification and violate promise to appear.
*32-year-old Justin Lee Pittman of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Pittman was released on a $25,000 bond.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 47-year-old Steven Lewis Stuart of May on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Daniel Joseph Taylor of Lubbock on warrants related to two counts of sale/distribute/display harmful to minor. Taylor was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5000 bonds as of Thursday morning.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 50-year-old Alfredo Villarreal of Brownwood on a warrant related to sexual assault. Villarreal was released on $15,000 bond.
Thursday, November 13
*32-year-old Joe Dell Knowles of Brownwood was arrested for assault family violence – occlusion, injury to a child and cruelty to non-livestock animals – fail to provide. Knowles was being held at the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $25,000 as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Jason Kyle Watkins of Brownwood on warrants related to operate unregistered motor vehicle, Violate promise to appear, improper driver’s license for vehicle type and on a surety withdrawal for hinder apprehension. Watkins was being held in the Brown County Sheriff’s Office in lieu of bonds totaling $7,800 as of Thursday morning.
