Thursday, November 5

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke to a complainant regarding a theft of medication at a property on County Road 310.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

Sunday, November 8

*2:10 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a hit and run accident which occurred earlier in the day.

Monday, November 9

*6:58 AM – Brownwood Police were contacted by phone regarding the burglary of two vehicles at a residence on Willis Street.  According to the report, a laptop and an iPhone were stolen from the vehicles during the overnight hours.

*3:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, an unknown suspect stole a bicycle which was left outside of the business by a customer.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*5:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a property in the 1400 block of Willis Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, $235 in cash along with a Kohler ID were stolen from the vehicle while it was parked at this location.  An investigation is ongoing.

*6:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a lost firearm.  According to the report, the firearm, which was in a black case, slid out of the back of his brother’s truck somewhere between Brownwood and Blanket.  The complainant searched for several hours and was unable to find the firearm and case, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a property on Apache Drive in May, Texas.  According to the report, the complainant’s Lincoln Navigator had been keyed while it was parked at his shop on Apache Drive, causing approximately $5,000 in damage.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Deena Sue Drake of Winters, Texas on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.

*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Devitt Carene Kennard of Brownwood on a warrant related to injury of a child/elderly/disabled intend bodily injury.  Kennard was later released on a $10,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old John Haustin Simmons of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft from elderly.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Casey Breighann Tyson of Brownwood on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Vick Dewayne York of Early on warrants related to burglary of a habitation, possession of a controlled substance, and motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance.
