Thursday, January 7

*3:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Slayden Street regarding a minor in possession of tobacco.  According to the report, school employees observed the juvenile student smoking in the front of the school through a window.  The juvenile was issued a citation for minor in possession of tobacco and placed in in-school suspension for three days as discipline by school administration.

Friday, January 8

*11:41 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the incident was believed to have occurred between 10:00 p.m. on January 7th and 9:23 a.m. on this date.

*4:24 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a restaurant on North Hwy 279 in Brownwood, regarding two customers who had walked out of the restaurant without paying for their meals.

*4:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding an assault.

*7:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Drive regarding the theft of a speaker from the residence.

*9:37 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made traffic stop on a vehicle in the 9000 block of County Road 257.  According to the report, a consent search of the vehicle lead to the discovery of marijuana which was claimed by one of the passengers in the back seat of the vehicle.  The passenger, identified as 18-year-old Kolton Gylnn Reeves of Early, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

*11:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the burglary of a habitation in the 1000 block of Irma Street.  According to the report, household items, Xbox video games, DVDs and CDs, clothing, identifying documents, heating appliances, containers of loose currency, cosmetics, and small appliances were stolen from the residence.

*11:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, witnesses on scene confirmed the driver’s report that a male in a black Ford truck had struck his vehicle (an SUV) multiple times and pushed it into the roadway in the wrong lane of traffic, then drove away.  According to the report, the suspect was later identified by witnesses as 25-year-old William Fields of Brownwood, and both Fields and the suspect vehicle were located at his residence by police.  Fields refused to cooperate with officers; however, damage to the truck appeared to be consistent with the damages seen on the SUV, the report states.  Fields was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – motor vehicle.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Joeleliza Pesina Arrellano of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license and parent contributing to non-attendance.

*27-year-old Justin L. Bigbie turned himself in on a warrant related to forgery of a government/national instrument/money/security.  Bigbie was later released on $10,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 21-year-old Alan Raye Craig of Houston on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/arson.  Craig was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Monday morning.

*23-year-old Dakota Michael Cross of Blanket turned himself in on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 33-year-old Micheal Ryan Ellis of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence/house member with two plus incidents within twelve months.  Ellis was later released on $25,000 bond.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 47-year-old Michael Don Fitzgerald of Brownwood on a warrant related to public intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Michelle Kealei Gonzales of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  Gonzales was later released on $40,000 bond.

*34-year-old Andrea Rene Johnson of Coleman turned herself in on a warrant related to boating while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Javier Orozco of Dallas, Texas for failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  Orozco was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 43-year-old Thomas Reed Stewart of Brownwood for public intoxication.

Saturday, January 9

*4:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue H regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, a known suspect threatened to kill the complainant.

*8:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 1st Street regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, an unknown subject had stolen the complainant’s pickup.  The vehicle was recovered soon after being reported as stolen, behind a local apartment complex, the report states.  The vehicle was removed and released back to the victim.  The investigation is ongoing.

*9:17 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Choctaw Drive in May, regarding disorderly conduct.  The deputies met with the victim and a witness who advised a known male subject had arrived at their house irate because he was upset with their children. Details of the incident were obtained, interviews were conducted, and a report for assault causing bodily injury was taken.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Rocky Autry of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 17-year-old Joshua Allen Auvenshine of Deleon, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 48-year-old Steven Lacy of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Pete Vallejo of Austin, Texas for fictitious counterfeit inspection certificate.

Sunday, January 10

*7:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a convenience store in the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding a medical emergency.  According to the report, officers arrived to find a male subject, identified as 46-year-old Brian Alan Inglet of Brownwood, face down on the ground.  After contact was made, and an investigation, Inglet was found to be in possession of marijuana and very intoxicated, the report states.  Inglet was arrested, charged with public intoxication and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*2:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, $111.66 worth of merchandise was stolen from the store.  Loss prevention employees had been following a female, identified as 23-year-old Destinee Angela Marie Hood of Brownwood, because she had previously returned unpurchased goods in the store on two recent dates, including earlier this date, the report states.  Hood had filled a cart with merchandise from the store and had passed all points of purchase and when confronted by loss prevention employees ran through the store and exited through the garden center, according to the report.  Hood was later located by a game warden and advised she was under arrest for theft.  Hood was verbally abusive to store employees and law enforcement and refused to walk to the patrol unit for transport to the jail, the report states.  Hood’s purse was found to have a glass methamphetamine pipe along with small jewelry bags with what later was confirmed to be methamphetamine, according to the report.  Upon booking into the jail, Hood was found to have two Tramadol pills in her clothing. Hood was subsequently charged with theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500 with previous conviction, possession of drug paraphernalia, prohibited substances and items in correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance not in penalty group, resisting arrest search and transport, and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1.

*3:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Austin Avenue regarding credit or debit card abuse.

*10:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, a computer was stolen from the residence and the investigation is ongoing.

*10:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Dillard Drive regarding a vehicle, which was parked in the roadway.  After numerous attempts to locate the owner, the vehicle was towed.
