Monday, October 28

*7:26 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Avenue B, Coggin Elementary, regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the school had been burglarized over the weekend.  As a result of this call, a 15-year-old juvenile male was arrested on charges of burglary of a building and engage in organized criminal activity, the report states.  The juvenile’s father as well as the juvenile’s school principal at the Brownwood Alternative School was called and advised of the arrest.  The juvenile was then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Thursday, October 31

*8:10 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to 2100 Slayden Street, Brownwood High School, regarding an assault.   According to the report, an investigation determined that a juvenile had committed the offense of assault on two people.  The juvenile was arrested, transported to the Juvenile Detention Center for processing, the report states.  The juvenile will be placed into Disciplinary Alternative Education Placement program for 45 days as school discipline.

*11:25 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Main Blvd. regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant reported 68 pills of hydrocodone stolen.

*12:11 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of E. Commerce regarding a motor vehicle accident.   This call led to several citations being issued to two people.  The citations related to driving while license invalid, accident involving damage to vehicle, and possession of alcoholic drink in motor vehicle to one person and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle to another person.

*1:00 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of missing cattle from the area of County Road 371 and County Road 349.  According to the report, the complainant stated that 26 heifers on two of his properties were missing.  The cattle have his “E” brand on the right hip.

*7:40 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was out of town, an unknown subject had burglarized his residence and that various electronics and personal hygiene products were stolen.

*10:44 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief at a property on County Road 618.  According to the report, the complainant stated his vehicle had been “keyed.”

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 616 in Early regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle.   According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 11:46 a.m., an unknown person took $100.00 out of her wallet, which was in the glove box of her unlocked vehicle.

*TYC arrested 17-year-old Courtney Abiakam for assault on a public servant.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Robert Deontay Clark on a warrant for sexual assault of a child and sex offender’s duty to register 10 years.

*25-year-old Ashley Nichole Mattix turned herself in on a warrant related to theft of property by check equal or greater than $20 less than $500.

*57-year-old John Melvin Muscovalley, Jr. turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Kristopher Allan Roe on a warrant for sex offender’s duty to register.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 52-year-old Freddie Delvin Thomas for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Ethan Vance Wills of Arlington for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 greater  than 1 gram less than or equal to 4 grams.
