Thursday, November 4
*10:31am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue A regarding a burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, items stolen from the unsecured residence included a video camera and four different social security cards. The complainant stated that she would pursue charges against the suspects; however was unable to provide suspect information at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
Monday, November 8
*9:16pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of W. Commerce in reference to a female that had just been assaulted. The complainant had apparent minor injuries and reported an assault by her roommate had occurred in the 700 block of Gifford the report states. The suspect had fled the scene.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Michael Cory Shane Lindsey for Minor in Consumption – Alcohol.
*Bangs Police Department arrested 51-year-old Vickie A. Montanez for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
*Early Police Department arrested 53-year-old Steven Lane Womack for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Department was called to a residence on Walnut Street in Brownwood regarding an incident of illegal dumping. According to the report, the complainant stated that he observed some garbage dumped over the bridge that is in a waterway that runs onto his property. This is an ongoing problem, so the complainant looked through the debris and found identifying information of the suspects which was placed into evidence the report states.
Tuesday, November 9
*1:49am-A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to signal its intent to turn near the intersection of 2nd Street and Avenue H. The driver was identified as 25-year-old Christopher Moore of Goldthwaite. After further investigation, Moore was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
*Bangs Police Department arrested 31-year-old Joy Louise Miller for Public Intoxication.
*Bangs Police Department arrested 26-year-old J. Guadalupe Montanez of Bangs on a Border Patrol Hold.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
