Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, November 1, 2010.

Friday, October 29

*7:16pm-A Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding a report of theft.  The Asset Protection Associate stated she witnessed two females steal a number of items.  The police report states that the women were identified as 19-year-old Kyla Kincheloe of Bangs and 23-year-old Autumn Alexander of Early.  After investigation, Kincheloe and Alexander were arrested for theft greater than or equal to $50 and less than $500.

*8:13am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377S regarding Criminal Mischief.  The reporting party told officers that an outside light had been broken sometime overnight, and a rock was located under the light.  At the time of the report, no suspect(s) information was available.  The business does wish to pursue charges if a suspect is found.

*10:02am-Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of S. Broadway, Trans Texas Tires, regarding criminal mischief.  The reporting party explained that he had located two broken windows on the side of the building.  The damage was estimated at approximately $100.

*3:54pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of Austin Avenue regarding stolen property.  The complainant stated that someone had stolen some semi-precious stones from them, valued at approximately $225.  Suspect information has been provided; however, no arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*8:35pm-A Brownwood Police officer, while working security at the Brownwood High School football game, was approached by an aggressive male, identified as 48-year-old Timothy Murphy according to police reports.   The report states that when asked to leave the stadium, the suspect would not comply and was arrested for Criminal Trespass.  Police officials stated that during the arrest, Murphy resisted and the officer tased him.  Murphy was charged with Resisting Arrest.

*11:52pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Brady Avenue regarding a hit and run accident.  After an investigation, officers were able to locate the damaged vehicle at a residence that officers had been to earlier in the night.  Police reports state that the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Josue Jaime Pesina, was arrested for Fleeing Scene of Accident greater than $200 and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Bethel Baptist Church on CR 298 in reference to a report of arson.  Deputies spoke with the pastor who showed them an area of the front steps of the church which had black smoke marks from a fire.  The damage was found by the man who mows the yard and he asked a member of the church to call BCSO to report the damage.  Investigation was led by BCSO along with the BFD Fire Marshal.  No other area of the church was disturbed according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of firearms.  Deputies spoke with the complainants who stated that a .22 cal rifle and a 20 gauge shotgun were stolen from a bird house that was under construction on the property.

Saturday, October 30

*8:19pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Hillsboro regarding a citizens’ dispute.  Further investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old Jeffery Shane Hamill for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz., and Failure to Identify Fugitive:  Intentionally gave false information.  Also arrested was 34-year-old David Tucknott for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Anthony Shane Lloyd for Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old Curtis Lee Moore for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Possession of Marijuana.  Clinton Robert Nagle, 45, was also arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 27-year-old Missy Ann Nickerson for Possession of Marijuana.

Sunday, October 31

*1:08am-While working stationary patrol, a Brownwood Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding.  The driver, identified as 26-year-old Xavier Scott Martinez, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid after dispatch alerted the officer that Martinez did not have a valid driver’s license and that the vehicle he was driving was not insured police reports state.

*1:35am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a fight in progress.  Officials at BPD report that a 17-year-old, identified as Lapauldria Lasha Jackson, was reported to be disoriented and acting out of control.  Reports state that she pulled a knife and threatened to hurt herself and others as her family attempted to intervene, according to BPD officials.  The woman’s family called police for help and upon their arrival, it was found that the mother had wrestled the daughter to the floor and the knife had been taken away.  When officers went to handcuff the young woman, she began fighting officers kicking them repeatedly until they were forced to use a taser on her, which had no effect.  She was eventually taken into custody by officers and transported to the hospital for medical help. Police reports state that the investigation revealed that Jackson had been smoking K-9 (a brand name of synthetic marijuana) at a party before the incident.  Jackson was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Family Violence, Assault on a Public Servant, Obstruction/Retaliation, and Resisting Arrest.  She is currently being held on bonds totaling $56,500.

*2:26am-A Brownwood Police officer observed a white male walking in the middle of the roadway in the 2300 block of Dartmore.  Contact was made with the male who was later identified as Steven McDaniel.  After investigation, McDaniel was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.

*8:58am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to McDonald’s Restaurant regarding a possible stolen cell phone.  The complainant stated the phone had been left at the restaurant and an unknown subject had stolen it.  The phone is a Blackberry Torch, valued at $600.  No suspect information was available.

*9:03am-Brownwood Police received a report of a residence with flies in the windows and a smell coming from the structure.  It was determined that an animal had died inside the residence.  The owner informed officers that she would remove the animal.

*11:29am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Belle Plain regarding three storage buildings that had been broken into.  Attempts to contact the owners were unsuccessful.  At this time no property has been reported missing; however, a key lock was found near the building that had been cut with bolt cutters.  No suspect information was available.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a trailer and a riding lawn mower.  The complainant stated that the trailer had been parked under the carport of his mother’s home and that sometime between 6:30pm on October 30th and 12:30pm on the 31st someone had stolen the 2010 black utility trailer with a Cub Cadet riding lawnmower that belonged to him.  The trailer was valued at $600 and the riding lawnmower was valued at $1629.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report; however both were listed as stolen.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
