Wednesday, January 8
*1:12 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of Carnegie regarding a scam. Information was obtained in reference to an attempted fraudulent wire transfer for a large sum of money.
*3:07 PM – Brownwood Police made contact with a complainant by phone regarding a possible assault. The complainant advised that she was followed home by a family member who made threats to her and threw a stick at her.
Thursday, January 9
*11:52 AM – Brownwood Police responded to Coggin Park regarding damaged bleachers at the soccer fields. After investigation, police determined that someone drove a vehicle onto the field and while driving in an erratic manner, lost control and struck the bleachers. Damage is estimated at $475.
*1 PM – Brownwood Police were conducting a runaway juvenile investigation on Gifford Street. Officers made contact with Misty Michelle Dewell, 36 of Brownwood, and located several plastic baggies of marijuana inside the residence, according to the police report. She was placed under arrested for possession of marijuana.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on Spillway Road regarding illegal dumping. After an investigation, the deputy arrested 30-year-old Charles Cabler III and 28-year-old Daniel Stringer for illegal dumping 1000 pounds or more, a state jail felony, according to the report. Stringer was also charged with unlawful carrying a weapon.
*Brownwood Police arrested Trequawin Elijah-Rasha, 19 of Brownwood, on warrants for failure to appear and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 44-year-old Robert Glen James an a warrant for failure to appear.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 40-year-old Jennifer Krezeminski of Ballanger on multiple warrants including failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 42-year-old Renteria Isais Rodriguez of Dallas for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 51-year-old Louis Noe Suniga of Early on warrants for failure to appear.
