Sunday, October 5

*7:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on Magnolia Street regarding a juvenile female sitting by herself not talking to anyone.  According to the report, the female was reported as a runaway juvenile earlier in the day.  The female was returned to her home, the report states.

Monday, October 6

*9:12 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Magnolia Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen two checks from him.

*11:04 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue K regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the disturbance was handled by separation.  Officers were asked to search the residence for drug paraphernalia, which was located in a bathroom of the residence and seized for destruction, the report states.

* 11:16 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, one of the tires on the complainant’s pickup had been cut by an unknown suspect.

*2:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding narcotics.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect had left a makeup bag containing narcotics behind in the store.  The bag and its contents were collected for further investigation, the report states.

*2:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that six golf cart batteries (valued at $780) had been stolen from his property.

*4:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Hickory Street regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the father of her grandchildren had come to the residence demanding to see the children and was using forceful language.

*5:15 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 234 regarding drugs/narcotics being left at the residence.  According to the report, a former tenant/roommate had moved out of the residence and left behind drugs/narcotics in the bathroom.

Tuesday, October 7

*9:39 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Vine Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been shot with a pellet gun.

*4:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Crockett Drive, the BISD bus barn, regarding a traffic violation.  According to the report, a bus driver reported an incident where one of the student passengers was almost struck by a vehicle passing the bus while it was unloading.  A suspect was identified and information was forwarded to the municipal court.

*7:14 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 9th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, several electronic items were stolen during the burglary.

*7:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Austin Avenue regarding the violation of a protective order.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence in Rising Star regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband had stolen two rings from her and pawned them.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to a residence on County Road 436 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown suspect had tried to open the gate to the property and damaged the gate.  The complainant stated that it would cost $4800 to replace the gate, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old James Wayne Box of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Josue Jaime Pesina of Brownwood on warrants related to theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000, driving while license invalid, violate promise to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and on three surety withdrawals.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Reynaldo Carrillo Ramos of San Angelo on a warrant related to motion to revoke/sell/distribute harmful matter to minor.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Sharon Larue Shaffer of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to two counts of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams, and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, and on a warrant related to manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Brandi Lyn Stokes of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.

Wednesday, October 8

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Thomas Gabriel Cerda of Comanche on a Nolan County warrant related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
