Wednesday, October 5

*8:39 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4300 block of Westridge Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, two AR rifles, an automatic pistol, ammunition, a bottle of tequila and a cell phone were stolen from the residence.  After an investigation, 18-year-old Nicholas Osbourne Johnson, Jr. and a juvenile suspect were arrested.  The juvenile was charged with burglary of a habitation and theft of a firearm, and Johnson was charged with theft of a firearm, the report states.

Thursday, October 6

*7:29 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Belle Plain regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a political sign was damaged.

*10:53 AM – The Brownwood city marshal was performing a warrant service in the 600 block of 5th Street where the wanted subject, identified as 31-year-old Richard Paul Fields of Brownwood was found hiding within the residence.  According to the report, as the marshal attempted to detain Fields, he broke free and ran.  Assisting officers located and arrested Fields on outstanding municipal warrants and an additional charge of fleeing to elude police officer.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kelton Dewayne Cogburn of Comanche on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/burglary of a habitation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old William Rockland Harless of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 40-year-old Teresa Ladonna Perry Khan of Fairdealing, Missouri for driving while intoxicated/open container.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Christopher Lee Lowe of Bangs on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

*53-year-old Donald Augustus Pressley of DeSoto, Texas on a warrant related to failure to maintain child support.
