Tuesday, October 6
*11:06 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of 10th Street regarding a hit and run accident.
*12:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding theft. According to the report, officers were able to locate the suspects and after a short investigation, 31-year-old Laura Roberson of Brownwood was arrested for theft of property equal or great than $100 less than $750 and on an active Erath County warrant related to theft greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
*5:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 585 in regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the back hatch of a 2002 Ford Explorer had been damaged and a possible suspect was named.
*6:42 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding injury to a disabled person. According to the report, the female complainant stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend the previous day as well as on this date. A report of assault of a disabled person with bodily injury was filed and photos of the victim’s injuries were taken.*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Avenue G regarding a runaway juvenile.
*9:07 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Avenue E regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, after interviews with parties involved and witnesses, this call led to the arrest of 25-year-old Taylor Stoddard of Euless for assault family violence.
*11:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding an assault.
*Brownwood Police arrested 54-year-old James Anthony Bilbrey of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Eustaquio Almanzan Gonzales, Jr. of Brownwood on warrants related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, a parole violation, and speeding. Gonzales was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $55,000 as of Wednesday morning.
*Early Police arrested 30-year-old Lupe Conrado Villareal of Early on a warrant related to aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury. Villareal was later released on $50,000 bond.
Wednesday, October 7
*5:35 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a father and his adult son were both intoxicated and involved in an altercation. Neither party wished to pursue criminal charges and the incident was settled by separation.
