Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, October 6-7, 2011.

Wednesday, October 5

*12:09pm-Brownwood Police were called to the area of 1700 4th Street regarding an unwanted person.    According to the report, a criminal trespass was issued to the subject at the resident’s request.

*12:41pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Durham Avenue regarding found property.  According to the report, a baby blue Schwinn Starlet 1-speed girl’s bicycle had been found.   The owner was not able to be located in the area and the bicycle was transported to the Brownwood Police Department and secured in the impound until the owner can properly identify and claim it.

*3:01pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Police Department regarding a lost wallet.  According to the report, the wallet contained various forms of identification and $100 in cash.

 

*4:15pm-Brownwood Police received a report of theft of service via phone call.  According to police, the complainant stated that the victim was the Brownwood Bulletin and the subject was an unknown male subject who had stolen services in the form of a classified ad in the amount of $131.75.

*10:34pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 3600 block of Durham Avenue regarding a possible burglary.  The reporting party heard an unknown subject break out a window at Harvest Time Tabernacle, the report states.  The reporting party met the officer in the road and stated that he had seen a male subject running from the area northbound on Austin Avenue and that the noise sounded like it came from the area around Live Oak Pharmacy, the report states.  Officers were able to find a broken window on the west side of Live Oak Pharmacy.

Thursday, October 6

*1:30am-A Brownwood Police officer was flagged down by a clerk at the 7-11 convenience store at 3801 4th Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a blue Ford Truck had just backed into and run over one of the store’s new trash cans which was located near the gas pumps.  The suspect vehicle was unable to be located at the time of the call.

*3:15pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Indian Creek Road regarding theft.  The complainant reported two women who were identified as suspect in stealing several Brownwood Reunion VIP tickets, the report states.

* 7:17pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a juvenile male was being detained for shoplifting.  The juvenile was issued a citation and released to his father who came to the store to take custody of the boy.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Alexis Soria for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz. in a drug free zone.

*Early Police arrested Richard Clay Stanley for Driving While License Invalid, Driving While Motor Vehicle Insurance Expired, and No insurance.

Friday, October 7

*5:20am-Brownwood Police were called regarding theft in the 1500 block of 4th Street.  According to the report, the local EMS worker reported that while his vehicle was parked at Guardian EMS, someone stole gas from the vehicle’s tank.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report and the investigation is ongoing.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Robin Barnett for Assault Family Violence by Intimidation.

*Brownwood Police arrested 46-year-old Troy Crawford for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
